The days in Valhalla are filled with glorious combat, and the nights with great feasts for the victors. All who fall there are resurrected on the morrow, to fight and die once more in the name of the gods. In Ardessen, the warriors of Valhalla are often employed as mercenaries because of their low price and high morale. They take no interest in foreign politics at all, as long as their fortress is left unmolested. Valhalla ended up in Ardessen after a botched attempt to save it from the fires of Surt during Ragnarök. [b]Faction Strengths:[/b] [list] [*]The forces of Valhalla are led by gods, whose power is enormous. [*]The warriors of Valhalla cannot truly die as they are resurrected in their fortress on the morrow following their death. [*]The Bifrost bridge is a tool of great strategical value as it allows the Valhallan forces to travel with extreme speed to almost any part of the world. [*]Being politically immune, attacks on Valhalla are extremely rare. Mercenary work has also made the Valhallans quite wealthy. [/list] [b]Faction Weaknesses:[/b] [list] [*]Although the Valhallan forces are unbreakable and pseudo-immortal, their numbers are limited to a few thousand. [*]There is no reproduction in Valhalla. [*]The warriors of Valhalla are technologically inferior to many other factions. [*]The gods of Valhalla, though powerful, have a nasty habit of in-fighting. [/list] [/hider]
