He is proper and prim, and full of elegance and elocution. However, he is still practical and as such is rather succinct and critically frank. He holds no stock in flowery living or ostentatious flair, and as such seeks only to satisfy himself with the minimum of what is necessary. He holds a rather cynical outlook on life, but still holds a distinct hope that is painted in a markedly negative tone. Background: WIP Powers: Pillar of Decay Lee on a whim can instantly erect a solid black hexagonal pillar directly in front of him. This pillar is ten meters long and three meters wide. The pillar emerges abruptly from the ground no matter what kind of surface it is, and is composed of a wholly unknown substance. It is nigh indestructible, and touching it with hostile intent imparts a curse of decay that acts like a poison, rotting away flesh, magic and armor. The curse itself is mediocre in power, and is not nearly enough to deal significant damage by itself. However, the curse can be constantly applied. Secondary applications of the curse will increase its minor effects two fold, third exposure triples the effects, and so on. The pillar is completely stationary for the most part, but stands on a rooting system wherein it roots to whatever ground it emerged from. Thus it is possible to alter the movement of these pillars by destroying the ground beneath them. The pillars do not follow regular laws of physics, and cannot be toppled by regular means other than forcing it to drop. Even when falling, exterior forces such as strong winds cannot force a pillar to move, and the pillar will merely sink straight downwards. Lee can formulate an additional pillar every time he casts three spells, and can have a maximum of six pillars around him at any given time without factoring in additional ones from extended spellcasting. One thing to note is that Lee cannot cast the same spell twice in a row. Force: A spell that directs a pillar immediately forward at an extreme speed in a linear trajectory. Pillars will move until they collide with a sizable object or when Lee pre-programs them to stop. He cannot will them to stop after they are in motion, so he must plan when exactly they stop to maximize his abilities. The pillars obviously deal sizable physical damage simply on account of being large, imposing objects hurtling forward. Being struck by a pillar is akin to being slammed by a hundred kilogram weight at breakneck speeds. Draw: Lee can direct a pillar towards him, causing it to move in a linear direction closest to him at speed matching a pillar moving under the Force spell. The pillar will move until it makes contact with Lee's hand, wherein it will abruptly halt, or when Lee programs the pillar to stop. Objects hit by the pillar moving under the effect of Draw will suffer a curse that reduces their reactionary speed and basic movement functions for several minutes. Door: By running into a pillar with this spell active, Lee can walk out of another pillar already present. It is essentially teleportation, but on a limited scale. Enemies cannot follow Lee into pillars under most circumstances, though certainly allies can if Lee wills so. While this spell is active, Lee's speed increases drastically. Stop: By pointing at a pillar and using this spell, Lee can cause it to stop. This spell cannot over-ride either force or draw, and thus it is only useful to stop pillars that are dropping from having the ground beneath them destroyed and so on. Ripple: A powerful and costly spell that Lee can only reliably use once in any given fight in a reasonable timeframe. By touching a pillar, Lee can cause it to emanate shockwaves of destructive energy that deal considerable amounts of magical damage that bypasses all defenses. The damage does not register instantly, and instead is struck over a period of ten or so seconds like some terrible disease. The pillar Lee touches will continue emitting these shockwaves, which extent up to twenty meters around it in a circular area. However, if any of these shockwaves touch another pillar, then the new pillar will also emit shockwaves for ten more seconds. In effect, it is possible for Lee to perpetually cause an opponent to face unblockable damage by strategically placing, preparing and moving pillars around the enemy. Labyrinth: Lee summons a massive circular plate of solid black energy exactly of the same composition as the pillars he erects. The plate is thirty meters long in radius, and is five meters wide. Lee must summon the plate twenty meters above the highest elevated pillar. The plate will descend onto the ground before colliding, unless there are obstacles, with the pillars on the ground. When the plate contacts these pillars, it merges with them and forms a powerful construct that traps all beings within it. In essence, everything within the area of the plate suffers a complete deprivation of smell and sight as well as a dulling of instincts. Also, all enemies will be afflicted with the same curse the pillars inherently have, which exponentially increases in power the longer they stay within the area. Finally, enemies will have their neural processes inverted, causing them to perceive forward as backwards and vice versa. Skills: Perception: Lee has a honed eye and keen awareness of his surroundings. He can accurately discern the slightest of alterations among others and his environment, and rationally act accordingly. Strategist: Lee has little direct power. He must rely on strategy and planning to set up his enemies to demise. As such, his strategic prowess is extremely honed, and it becomes a deadly threat when complemented with his perception.
