HP: 68/68 SP: 52/52
Gruffydd stopped breathing when Bride fell in the fountain. He was visibly shocked, and remarkably still. His mind was another matter entirely. As soon as he saw Bride in the fountain, he knew this wasn't going to end well. When the airs of the room changed, he slowly turned his head to see the enraged fae creature. Their eviction had pushed his breath from his lungs, and sent him careening a short distance where he landed roughly on his back. The fairy was screaming about money, but Gruffydd wasn't paying any attention. We aren't dead? She's not going to kill us? Not even— "But before that: a thousand curses upon your houses!" "Curses. A thousand of them. Wonderful. It was nice knowing you guys." Given that whatever horrible magic this "Trish" had cast on them wasn't taking any immediate affects, Gruffydd decided to stand up. He felt considerably less horrible than he though someone who was just cursed by a fickle fae sprite. “I..I-I am s-sorry…” Gruffydd turned his head to Bride. With the latter drenched, and the former no longer panicking, it became self-evident that Bride merely dressed like a girl. And possessing a somewhat feminine appearance. Or she hadn't developed much yet. Nobody else is reacting, so it probably came up while I was possessed. “I c…could pay as w-well…just t-tell me the price and I wll t-try to pay b-back.” And now Gruffydd felt like shit. Bride was crying and here he was wrapped up in his own thoughts. Kazuo seemed to have the situation well in hand, and Gruffydd wouldn't really know what to do regardless. This didn't sit well with him, but there wasn't really anything to do about it now. But Gruffydd's rumination could not continue, because Shiro was leading them to Ms. Sasaki. Ultimately, ut turned out to be this world's version of the Wonder Mall. When Shiro was thrown through the window, Gruffydd was quickly at his side. Bride had already helped him to his feet, and he went in after Kazuo with the two of them. He flinched on seeing the shadow. It was even larger than Herne had been. Gruffydd brought his shovel to bare, but he didn't think it would do him much good. But then he remembered what Herne had told him. "Call on me when you have need, and I shall strike down what assails you." Stepping in front of Shiro and Bride, Gruffydd dug within himself. The image of a stag's face appeared over his—a mask. "Herne" The massive form of the Wild Hunter appeared before him. The nonexistent breeze that blew through his hair intensified. Herne extended his hand towards theshadow that dwarfed even him, and real wind could be felt. [Roll: 6! Herne used Garu! Weakness Hit! 90 Wind Damage Dealt!] The massive shadow was blasted by the force of Herne's gale, and Gruffydd's mouth grew into a grin. As Herne vanished from sight, leaving Gruffydd looked at the gargantuan shadow once again, only to see that it had fallen, and was in a very vulnerable position. His grin growing manic, he spoke, "Alright. Let's see what you're made of you thrice-damned ink-stain."
HP: 68/68 SP: 48/52
