Many of the Vets and other fighters are always willing to help train, spar, and more. Though I will warn you that it's not usually written out like a normal rp battle would be and the system can take some getting use. I believe Skallagrim has a tutorial which you can look up the process and to get an idea how T-1 ([url]http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/3444-understanding-textual-close-quarter-combat-for-the-aspiring-duelist/ooc[/url]) works, at least the basics.
