[/center] Name: Wei Zhu Feng Age: 64 Gender: Male Race: Human Height: 5'8" Weight: 144 lbs Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Aliases/Titles: Vermillion Wind, owner of Zhu Tea Shop, Master Asia, Mr. Miyagi Personality: Zhu Feng is something of an oxymoron. A calm, relaxed thrill-seeker, the man goes through life with naught but a tranquil smile on his face even as he searches for his next challenge. Everything he does is geared towards his own amusement. The man has a fetish for schadenfreude, and finds the misfortune of others to be funny. That said, if he had one desire other than to amuse himself, it would be to pass on his martial arts style to a worthy successor. So far, the only apprentice he's found is some punk kid that acts like he's a girl, but hell, he might be worthy. Background: Born in a small village in southern China during Mao Zedong's regime, Zhu Feng spent his early years learning his family's style of Ba Ji Quan. Zhu Feng thrived during training, enjoying the rush of battle, and found himself at his final test at the age of fifteen. Too bad for him that it involved a deathmatch with his master, who just so happened to be his father. Too bad for his father that Zhu Feng had so surpassed the man that the boy managed to simply knock his master unconscious, leaving his village in disgust. Not at the thought of killing, mind you, but at the thought of killing his own father. Considering there was little opportunity in the massive shithole that was communist China, Zhu Feng managed to smuggle himself into Hong Kong, where his bajiquan skills quickly found him a place as a Triad assassin. Over the years, he cemented his position as a martial arts master in the criminal underworld of Hong Kong, and eventually rose to a position of leadership in one of the Triads. However, being responsible for the success of others was never Zhu Feng's idea of a good time, and he soon found himself growing bored with the life of a crime lord. Eventually, Zhu Feng faked his death for his freedom, and left Hong Kong to wander Asia, seeking out martial arts masters to challenge. He won more often than he lost, but none of that mattered to him. All that was important was the rush he felt every time he exchanged punches with someone. He continued traveling Asia, even as old age began to catch up to him. Ten years ago, Zhu Feng found himself passing through a certain city when he experienced the Crimson Veil for the first time. From there, his power unlocked, and with it, the energy of his youth. Zhu Feng had once been contemplating retirement, but threw that aside as he realized that the greatest challenges of his life were upon him. And so he has been hunting youkai for the past decade, having settled down in the city as a tea shop owner to pay the bills. He also rescued some stupid kid from his first experience with the Veil recently, and started passing on his bajiquan to him. Powers: Entering the Crimson Veil revitalized Zhu Feng, granting him the vitality he felt in his youth again. In addition, his body's internal energy, or as he deemed it, chi, seemed to unlock itself for his use. Zhu Feng found himself able to harness his chi to boost his strength, speed, and reflexes to superhuman levels. He could probably utilize his power to create energy blasts and the like, but he'd rather just slam his elbows into a youkai's face over and over again until it split open.
