I didn't see much inactivity from the GMs end, but each to their own. 

I think another issue is that no-one wanted to actually adventure. I made the trip to Krowsgard in the hopes that there would be some Kingsguard who were also aware of the situation and wanted to go, but it seems I was incorrect. There was also no need to hold strategy meetings when not everyone has a plan, and the one plan that is made was pre-approved. I was actually in the midst of a post saying that Luci had arrived at Krowsgard when the rug was pulled from my feet!

Basically, more action and interaction, less bureaucracy and meaningless discussions that neither build character nor advance the story. That was what I identified as the failings
