Kei watched as the situation slowly turned into some favorable rather than pointless fighting. While they were slowly fending off the zombies, the one named John called him over and asked if he could cover his back. Kei nodded silently and followed him out to the car that was blaring loudly with the alarm. Kei watched as John dispatched two infected rather quickly, but the knife wasn't going to be much help in a crowd. As John approached the car, Kei did his best and fended off any infected that got behind john, he made sure he didn't waste any time with his movements as to maximize the killing potential with his Nodachi. 

Once John was in the car scavenging it, Kei stood with his back to the car and John so he could fend off any stray infected that came their way. With simple flicks of his arm he would decapitate any of the infected that got near him. Every now and again he would thrust with his Nodachi in hand to stab at the foreheads of the infected, making them fall even quicker at times. 

The two of them weren't at the car long as when Kei looked over to John, he had already finished searching the car and got what he needed. With that Kei cleared the path ahead back to where they came from.
