[@King Tai] [@Blackmist16] Rei allowed his fake smile to drop a little, his eyes remained glassy and cautious at the younger teen before him. His eyebrows arched slightly when the newcomer seemed too eager to be on friendly terms with him and Troy but his body language was hinting the opposite, the distance between the boy and the odd pair been an obvious giveaway. The knowing grin on the boy's face and his attempt to win his trust wasn't going to be effective on the Japanese outcast. He gave a sideways glance at Troy before he replied to the teen in a quiet voice, "We're new here, in this strange building that appears to be cut off from the world outside. It's natural for people to be suspicious of any approaching strangers in a place where there's nowhere to get help." Judging from the choice of words this guy had used, Rei guessed that he must be someone who had been here before them. He slowly deflated the tension that had built up in his slim frame - for now, establishing contacts was his first priority, and this person could be useful to help them get around the labyrinth of whitewashed hallways. "I'm Rei," he introduced himself, tilting his head at the loss of anything to add on before he stepped aside, unconsciously squeezing the tattooed arm of Troy, a sign to tell him that his secret was safe--- When a sudden blare of warning siren rang throughout the corridors, followed by an announcement about a breach of security. Rei covered his ears instinctively, extremely annoyed at the deafening bombardment around him. He let out a string of curses under his breath. Talk about bad timing. From the few words he could make out above the din, it seemed that they hadn't pinpointed the exact identity of the intruder (a name was mentioned, but an unfamiliar one) - which meant that they didn't know about Troy. He permitted himself to give a genuine smirk at his first possible friend.
