Tabbyfur
Tabbyfur felt a sense of pride and happiness as her apprentice seemed to really light up. It looked as if thoughts were buzzing in her head and she smiled, she obviously was excited. "I'm great to train now, Tabbyfur. Thanks for listening to me. This half-clan stuff...sometimes makes me nervous. But I feel much better now!" She nodded sympathetically. "You're quite welcome Snowpaw, I'd rather have my apprentice tell me what's wrong than not at all. And I'm sure it is, but that doesn't make you any less of a ThunderClan warrior in my eyes." Tabbyfur looked at her apprentice thoughtfully. 'How does she feel about all this? ThunderClan and RiverClan? She can't expect not to face her kin in battle one day... Maybe...' She shook her head from all the thoughts. Now ready to train, Tabbyfur stepped back and repeated what she had said earlier to her apprentice. "Right, could you stand there as if you're about to attack me, so I can demonstrate this move." She positioned herself a few paces back, and got into an outstretched position. The sand she was stood on slightly burnt her paws after being heated by the sun. Tabbyfur quickly started going over the move she was going to show her in her head, and waited for Snowpaw to get into position. "Once you're ready, I want you to start charging at me, okay?"
Duskclaw
Duskclaw looked down at the smaller apprentice sat next to him, and watched her paw movements as she started to rip off the moss from the tree. "You just have to make sure you're peeling it evenly or only a little bit will rip off." Duskclaw nodded attentively, paying close attention to what she said. He shook his head in embarrassment; an apprentice was teaching him the most basic of jobs. "If it starts to rip you just have to go back and pick at it some more." He watched as she avoided the moss being ripped carefully, and he stared in amazement as she produced a whole non-shredded roll of moss. "Wow, that's really good.. Waaah okay now I think I get it now." Honeypaw looked down at the roll of moss that she had just harvested. "That was a pretty good sized piece you picked out!" Duskclaw felt a little sense of pride, despite this being an apprentice's job. "Oh please, you managed to actually get it off, unlike me." He looked down at his messy pile of moss and laughed. "Well uh, now I know how to do it properly." His whiskers quivered embarrassingly and he used one heavy paw to turn over some of the moss as he inspected it. "Maybe we can head back? I think we'll have enough for all three nests. Unless you'd like to bury some to make a second trip with." Duskclaw nodded in agreement. "No, I think it'd be a better if we took the moss in one go." He looked at the amount of moss he had in comparison to hers. "I'll carry some of your moss if you need help? I haven't exactly got a lot to carry." Looking down at his pile, he picked up all of his in one swoop of his claw and placed it in his jaws. He padded over and could see that Honeypaw was obviously struggling. "I insist."
