Psychological Record:
Cold and logical to a point, Rin is the stone sentinel designed to keep the monsters away. Rin has the same emotional range as somebody who has used a little too much Botox, expressions limited to small twitches of the mouth that could barely be considered smiles. This cool and manipulative front is masked with mimicked social responses following through with a prescribed interaction to pull out a desired social response from whoever she is talking to. In missions even when things get hectic and crazy she remains the anchor in the chaos that holds the boat from falling apart. Rin is a sort of an enigma to her fellow agents, allows following orders, thinking before jumping in and starting with a ruthless sense of logic that the most efficient path is sometimes the most brutal one. Nobody's quite sure where her utilitarian beliefs came from but they seem deeply rooted inside of her.

History:
Rin was born in a small family both of her parents scientists working in a research firm in Yokohama. The first six years of her life were relatively good. Her parents were working most of the time so she would spend her time at home with her two brothers one older by five years and the other younger by three. She read a lot and played outside and especially enjoyed watching the people walking down the streets with their dogs. She always wanted to pet them but of course she never could her being up in an apartment several stories up and them all the way on the ground. It is idyllic really nothing to really complain about and every day seemed to be a new adventuring waiting to happening. Rin herself was a very different little girl than the one that lives today, a smiling face always curious and eager about the world it would make you wonder what happened?

Then Lost Saturday happened. Her family was out eating dinner at the time when it happened. One of the several dozen IED explosives that were placed in the Greater Tokyo Area during that time happened to be right outside the restaurant they were eating at, as it was in an area heavy with foot traffic. She remembers the scene to this day, the food was just coming out and her older brother had just made a crude joke that her mom had scolded him for and then a sudden force of immense height and pain seemed to swallow her like a roaring dragon and eat her alive dragging her into darkness. Rin would end up surviving the initial explosion and was sent to the hospital. The modern medical technology of the time managed to stabilize her but without some very expensive and cutting edge cybernetic surgery she would die within two months. Her body was a wreck, muscles and bone torn to shreads, it was a miracle she could still even breath. It was then that the MPS came in. MPS was looking for kids like her, those that had lost seemingly everything, those that world wouldn't care if they disappeared for a time. They offered her a chance at life, a chance at revenge and she agreed to her own faustian bargain. So they whisked her away in the middle of the night without telling either the hospital staff or her two brothers who had almost managed to survive the blast.

It took fifteen hours of reconstructive cybernetic surgery, fusing blood and steel together into a patchworked system that could breath life again. They fit her with the cutting edge of military augmentations, building upon to make her more than human. After that they begin tests not just pushing her augmentations, but mentally as well pushing her through test of science, math, languages and seemingly every discipline under the sun. And then they started to test with Novichok-13. She was far enough away from Tokyo that she was not exposed enough to "unlock" a gift but in this way she provided as a perfect test subject, to see if gifts could be forced manually upon somebody. And to everyone's great success it worked and it seemed that Rin was no worse for wear after receiving her "chemical baths".

It was at this time that MPS had acquired several agents other children and so they began to integrate them into a team to start serving their missions. They trained them in combat, espionage and counter-terrorism procedures and they say the rest was history.

Gift: Rin's gift is an interesting one. She can accurately visualize and predict changes in wind speed and direction, allowing her skills in long ranged combat to excel.

• Citadel Dermal Exolayer: A supple, micro-thin material implanted beneath the epidermis in key areas of the body, as well as over the surface of pre-existing cybernetic limbs. The structure of the plating is a phased composite; the base is a microfiber weave made from carbon nanotubes suspended in a thickening fluid. When kinetic energy from a physical blow or a weapon discharge strikes the plating, the fluid becomes rigid, deflecting the impact shock. Heat and electromagnetically-conductive elements in the armor matrix serve to dissipate damage from fire-related or energized trauma. Basically acts as a more advanced version of body armor.
• Goliath Phase 4 Arm Enhancement: These augmented artificial limbs are built on a framework of advanced polymers and lightweight metals. In place of an organic musculature, these augmentations utilize myomers -- bunches of electro-stimulated plastic cables that mimic the actions of muscle tissues, but to a greatly strengthened degree. In combination with tiny motors and shock-absorbing liquid polymer buffers, these cyber-limbs are capable of far exceeding human physical abilities.. Basically can punch harder, dampen recoil and lift heavier things. Through extended sternous use can burn out the rotors essentially making her arms usless.
• Pheidippides Phase Six Leg System: An augmented artificial limbs built on a framework of advanced polymers and lightweight metals. In place of an organic musculature, these augmentations utilize 'myomers'-bunches of electro-stimulated plastic cables that mimic the actions of muscle tissues, but to a greatly strengthened degree. In combination with tiny motors and shock-absorbing liquid polymer buffers, these cyberlimbs are capable of far exceeding human physical attributes. Allowing the user to run faster and jump higher than your normal human through increased power.
• EYE-SEE Retinal Implant: An optical membrane implant and data-frame for vision augmentations, this device is a microthin base coating layered onto the inside of the human eye, with a synthetic neural tissue spike connected to the optic nerve; it is capable of projecting digital information directly on to the retina. This augmentation implants the human eye with a series of suspended organic-plastic lenses which, in turn, use embedded circuitry to build on the basic data-frame provided by the EYE-SEE Retinal Implant. Psychological Record:
Jakk is a very prideful and brash individual, priding himself in his combat abilities and for a very good reason. He and Rin could be pretty much declared total opposites of one another, while Rin thinks Jakk jumps forward without looking. While Rin believes in the needs of the many over the needs of the few, Jakk has ideals of trying to be a hero and saving everybody. He is the type of guy that can get kind of annoying sometimes with his constant high intensity and strong convictions but is generally a good friend to have around because he keeps to his word and you know he will back you up in a fight no matter how useless it may become. Ideals and dreams of being some hero, somebody that fights for justice and protects those that can't protect themselves drive him forward. It would seem that the gruesome reality of what he is actually doing either passes over his head or her just chooses not to phase him.

History:
Jakk is a bit of a mystery just as Rin, not preferring to speak of his past. Though from what he has said it can be gained that he was born in Estonia as a single child and that he was in Tokyo because of his mother who was part of the Estonian olympic team as one of the country's premier female judoka. He was apparently almost crushed in the stampeded to get out of the stadium once the gas was released. As he is able to give vivid pictures of the burning sensation in his lungs and the pressure of the people crashing upon him in waves. Both his parents had apparently perished in the attack and so he wandered the streets for awhile. It was through this wandering that he would end up actually walking right into the leg of Major Oshiro, the man that would end up becoming the operations commander of Operation Shisha. The Major took him in and Jakk sort of became a sort of adoptive son to him, being personally trained and once Jakk's gift became apparent Jakk would become one of the first real children to become part of Operation Shisha. Always happy and jubilant as a child it was something he never really lost. His combat skills are fairly impressive, something gained through hours of training and he usually is given point on special operations usally to get other agents out of a jam.

Gift:
Jakk's gift is as strange as the others. Jakk has the ability of what some would call weighted luck. Basically in actions determined by pure chance, Jakk will always come out on the lucky side. Rolling a dice or flipping a coin it was always land on what he wanted it to land on, playing a game of russian roulette and he will never be the one to die. Yet this seems to have its limits and it only works in things of pure chance that are not predetermined so picking a good card for the top of a shuffled deck or picking winning lottery numbers or something like that his power does not work.

Psychological Record:
Alice is a surprisingly carefree individual, considering the circumstances. She usually says and does whatever comes to her mind first, and with the drastical accelleration of her every thought process through augmentation, she can easily outpace people in casual conversations. She is prone to mood swings and quickly loses interest in things that don't run on a source code, traits representative of a brain working on multiple processors. While she usually spends increased effort focusing on the mission during deployment, she often jumps right into all sorts of predicaments. Alice is not exactly of a rebellious nature, but needs repeated reminders to think first by someone of authority. She takes her dire situation with an unhealthy amount of humor and definitely lacks on the department of self-preservation.

History:
Arisu was born into a normal family, living a normal life. She had no siblings and her parents spoiled her, loving her unconditionally. Despite that, she never really cared to fit in too well, into anything. She had no goals, no aspirations, nothing really interested her too much. The kid spent most of her time indoors on her own. Computers fascinated her more than people, and needless to say, she spent more time with them than with the kids in her region.

When Lost Saturday happened, she was at home. The IEDs spared the house of her parents, though she felt the earth shaking. Her parents didn't come home that day and Arisu was later found to be depressingly indifferent. When she was recovered from her abandoned neighbourhood days later, MPS claimed the girl for their projects purely because she fit the profile. With all living relatives gone and evidently nobody else caring for her, she wouldn't be missed, she was young and appeared resistant to stress.
It was during the following months that she would liven up, discover her penchant for artificial intelligence, explore her gift and shed her birth-given name - for unspecified reasons, she wanted to be called Alice. The MPS conducted various experiments and research in order to fathom the extend of her gift, supplying her with technology and expensive "toys" to see how far her extraordinary comprehension would reach. Alice was fourteen when an unfortunate accident during one of the experiments happened. A critically malfuntioning AI caused several explosions within the testing area. According to official data entries those detonations inflicted devastating damage to Alice's extremities. While the damage was not life-threatening after the first phase of surgery, it was decided to apply implants and augmentations to restore and enhance her motoric functions. Inofficially there are implications of data in the reports being altered, suggesting that the events leading to the surgery were less than accidental.

Subject Alice's response to the treatment was overwhelmingly positive. The Alchemist-Type enhancements greatly increased her operating speed, and soon she issued a request for an additional cluster of Gemini-Type neural catalysts. She eventually began tampering with her own augmentations, including the neural catalysts, and the MPS turned a blind eye - though secretly kept tabs on her modifications, even those violating official safety regulations.
Nowadays she is a highly specialised technician seeing deployment wherever interaction with AI of any kind is expected.

Gift: Binary Understanding
Alice's "gift" is difficult to summarize in a short, compact term. She doesn't benefit from it directly, it is more of an elementary foundation for several of her abilities.
She has a deeper understanding of computer language than most, without ever having taken coding lessons. It is a unique mixture of intuition, reading between the lines and outright seeing things hidden beneath cascades of source code that enables her to do the things she does best. Practically, this manifests in two major "abilities" she frequently makes use of.

Advanced AI hacking enables her to reprogramm an AI in unreasonably short amounts of time after establishing a connection to the machine's processor. While the complexity of the AI in question still makes a minor difference, no amount of encryption or other protective measures can stop her from taking over any code-based AI. She can either rewrite one of her preset AI scripts to semi-permanently turn any machine against its masters, or divert more capacity of her neural cores to assume direct control over a single AI-based device at a time. This is entirely untested with sentient AI.

Binary blind spotting is a unique, extremely advanced and straining practice, but essential for safely getting close enough to hack combat-machinery - it turns the user virtually invisible for all digitalized perception. By tapping into the binary flow of -all- electronical devices around her, Alice can trace so called binary blind spots in her environment. While the existence of these blind spots has not been scientifically proven yet, there is no "better" explanation available for this consistently reproducable effect. Taking advantage of the phenomenon, Alice can process a stream of data through all of her augments that practically shifts her entire body into one of those blind spots. While this has no effect whatsoever on the natural eyesight of a human being, she completely fades from every digital form of perception. In this state she is invisible to heat signature readings, infrared, motion sensors, targeting devices, visual camera feeds and other visual data feed. It becomes impossible to pick up the sound of her footsteps, augment motors or even her beating heart outside of purely biological hearing. However, that also means she can not stream data to external devices (like a hacked AI), receive radio transmissions or be located by allies.
The data stream necessary to maintain the blind spotting puts all her augments under incredible workload and creates significant mental strain. Using this function in short bursts is suggested in order to maintain full functionality of all affected augments. Staying blind spotted for longer than ten successive minutes will cause fatal malfunction of neural catalysts, damaging the brain and likely incapacitating the user permanently.

Custom Pheidippides Phase "Five-Point-Two" Leg System
Subject Alice is using a highly customized version of the established state-of-the-art Pheidippides leg augmentation model. While it is not the latest fabrication of the series, she made several additions to the Phase Five herself, including an aural dampening generator and improved heat exhaust turbines. All in all her "Five-Point-Two" system reaches performances close to the Phase Six in terms of running speed, jumping height and kicking impact at a reduced noise and heat generation. It is completely impossible to camouflage the Five-Point-Two, even with retracted heat exhaust modules the non-standardized leg augmentations are blatantly obvious.

Custom Alchemist Phase 5 Arm Enhancement
The Alchemist series is a less "intrusive" augmentation that usually only substitutes parts of the individuals arms, but always completely replaces the hands. In this case, the aug begins with polymer coated light metal bones and myomeric muscle replacements of the forearm and ends in completely mechanized hand replacements. The major advantage of an Alchemist system over the more popular Goliath is increasing the speed, precision and general dexterity of finger movements beyond the scape of the humanly possible, making it necessary to complement Alchemist modules with a neural catalyst system to be able to utilise the operating speed this system provides. The system allows the user to execute complex finger coordination at unbelievable speed and precision, enabling them to dismantle complex mechanical constructions or type really, really, really fast. While the system also enhances the physical hand to hand capabilities of the user - specifically in speed and precision - it is not intended to come under extended physical strain, as the precise machinery in fingers and joints would take damage and suffer motor deficit.
Subject Alice manually modified her Alchemist models, too. She disabled segments of the motoric automation function that are meant to take stress off the brain when calculating high speed movement - because it was "slowing her down" according to archived reports. She also disabled several layers of the workload limiters in their BIOS. As a result she can temporarily overclock her Alchemist processors to reach even greater speed, but that also causes more mental strain and heat development in the modules.

Gemini-Type Neural Enhancement AI Cores
The Gemini-Type AI Enhancement units are sets of two AI cores that are implanted inside the human skull to enhance brain functions and allow the human mind to match processing speeds of high speed augments, such as Alchemist-type enhancements. The selling point of Gemini-Model is that several processor and AI cores can be synchronized to provide a more reliable boost of the users mental capacity. All of the synchronized cores can emulate mental processes individually at the same time, but when one of them suffers a critical malfunction, the backdraft is buffered by the other AI cores, preventing violent and potentially lethal seizures. While those malfunctions usually only occur under extreme performance spikes that even high-end augments hardly ever cause, Subject Alice has tampered enough with her hardware to actually reach those dangerous workload levels regularly. Subject Alice is using two Gemini-Type core clusters, adding up to a total of four catalyst AI systems in her brain. AI #1 is working under the official safety regulations for neural catalyst AI enhancement. #2, #3 and #4 have been altered and violate that regulation.

EYE-SEEn Retinal Implant
The EYE-SEEn is a mass-produced variation of the EYE-SEE Retinal Implant membrane that sacrifices subtlety for higher data-saturation. Like the EYE-SEE it is implanted in the human eye and connected to the optic nerve, but consists of three to five layers of the original model. The EYE-SEEn can display more layered data at the same time without significantly diminishing eyesight, and comes with a retinal control interface, enabling the user to control on-screen data via eye movements. While this is generally more of a niche product than the EYE-SEE, it is popular among personnel that operates computer terminals frequently.
If paired up with an Alchemist Arm Enhancement System, the EYE-SEEn can visualize a three-dimensional, holographic keyboard interface and simulate motoric functionality in real-time, allowing the user to operate external operating systems (assuming a suitable uplink is established), or their own neural enhancement cores without actual interface hardware. While it is -usually- not within the mental capacity of an average user, the function theoretically supports simultaneous handling of multiple operating systems.

An impressive and intimidating handgun that fires ammunition specifically made to pierce coating and armor meant to withstand bullet impacts. It fires two bullets almost simultaneously, ensuring both hit the exact same parameter of the target - ensuring maximum armor penetration capability. Its firepower is offset by the low ammo capacity and enormous recoil, preventing rapid fire bursts.
Subject Alice is regulated to carry this firearm at all times during deployment.

D2-VTS 'Firefly' Throwing Knives
State-of-the-art throwing knife technology combines practicability with deadly elegance. "Fireflies" mave microfiber-level sharpened edges that cut through organic tissue and protective plating without receiving a scratch. They are perfectly balanced and can be thrown accurately over short and medium ranges. The self-powered LEDs allow the user to easily keep track of their "ammunition" and make for convenient recollection. Inflict deadly wounds at all ranges.
Subject Alice's weapon of choice. The expensive and limited nature of this type of weapon encourages recollection after use.

Digital Breach Knife
Custom-forged blade made of D2-Vacuum Treated Steel with a built-in uplink receiver and self-ejecting hybrid myomer-cables that autonomously connect to digital data streaming material. Penetrating the hull of any mechanical device with a DBK will anchor it in the target and create a port for wireless data streaming that invades the present AI process, allowing a capable user to directly alter the AI's source code. The expensive and limited nature of this type of device requires recollection after use.
Used to cut through the external hull of any machine and establish a connection with its nervous system. Acts as a receiver for Alice's data uplink, giving her the chance to hack anything and everything she can impale with this thing.

Psychological Record:
Very headstrong and quite blunt, although this does translate into a weird honesty of sorts. As evidenced by her choice of nicknames, Max is decisively a tomboy through and through, never really been one to have feminine tastes. Max absolutely loves conflict, more specifically live combat, although whether she enjoys the violence or just the action itself is unknown. In the end despite her other characteristics, Max isn’t reckless, instead she tries to apply the right level of boldness when necessary.

History:
Maxine “Max” Lukeson was once a citizen of the UK, that being her homeland and nationality. Her family life was very average, a middle class suburban home in a small village with plenty of relatives nearby. She was an only child, but had many cousins around her age, as such she did receive those experiences anyway. Now needless to say Max was there during the 2020 Olympics, just herself and both parents, it was a rather happy vacation for the young girl.

Then Lost Saturday occurred. It is still unknown what happened to her parents, but it has been assumed they perished in the first round of explosions. Max was spared because of her small stature, shrapnel and shockwaves passed harmlessly over her. Debris helped to deflect other hazards that came her way, somehow she managed to survive the event with little to no serious wounds.

Later on when MPS recovered her Max was generally unresponsive, after all it’s hard for a child to shake off such trauma, of course in the following years she fortunately managed to recover. When Max’s gift was discovered she was immediately thrown into training such as sword fighting, and CQC courses. Max took to the training surprisingly well, and developed her skills rapidly, before long she became a very competent assault trooper of sorts, with the added benefit of augmentations, well… the rest should be obvious.

Gift:
Max has a very simple gift being that she’s fast, extremely fast. She isn’t just physically fast, of course a run speed on par with an olympian sprinter is nothing to sneeze at, but she’s able to process stimuli at a much faster rate than normal. This doesn’t equate to being more intelligent, nor does it really affect calculation speed, it’s rather particular that way. In reality Max excels at making snap decisions, among other things. Augmentations were utilized to further strengthen her gift.

Wired Reflexes:
High speed fiber optic cables have been surgically weaved throughout the body, their purpose is to seriously accelerate the transfer of electrical signals between the cerebellum, and other regions responsible for motor control, to receiver modules that have been installed in every major muscle group. The end result is vastly improved response time, however the downside being that the technology is still relatively new. If the user overexerts themselves there is a possibility for control modules to burnout, this can result in nerve damage.

Lightweight Sub-dermal Plating:
Pretty much just like any other dermal armor, the difference is the usage of lighter materials, which are notability weaker than traditional options, and less overall coverage. It strikes a good balance between raw defence while maintaining decent mobility.

Micro-Radiation Dreadfield:
Classified on more of the biological warfare side of things, the MRD is a specially made device installed directly on the back, it’s appearance is very much like small backpack, but obviously as it is physically connected to the spine it is impossible to remove. The user manually activates the MRD through a bracer worn on the wrist. What the MRD does is it shoots forth a wave of microwave radiation in a large sphere around the user. The effects of the field can vary only from causing unconsciousness in the average human, all the way to instantaneous death, it is the user’s discretion to decide how much force is required. There is no friend or foe identification obviously due to the nature of the weapon. Always after use it is highly advised to allow for a cooldown period of a few minutes.

Psychological Profile:

A free-spirited individual ironically trapped in the service of the MPS. Aaron Burke performs his duties to the extent that he and his acquantainces will not be terminated, but he always seems to make a point to put his own twist on operations, much to the ire of his commanding officers. Despite his constant efforts to be a thorn in the side of the Ministry, the young man is generally quite amiable -- pleasant, even, which is in stark contrast to the majority of the agents produced by Operation Shisha. If Burke experienced lasting trauma during the events of Lost Saturday or the following years of rescue and training by the MPS, he does not show it. Though psychoanalytical results remain consistent, advise deeper evaluation procedures. Despite his excellent field record so far, the possibility of rogue behavior by Burke is likely.

History:

Aaron Burke was born the younger child of two small business owners in the rural southeastern United States. Little of interest happened during his infancy and younger years of childhood, but it is worth noting that his sister Emily -- his senior by eleven years -- doted on him quite regularly. The family came to the 2020 Summer Olympics as winners of a local prize drawing. The events in the days prior to the Lost Saturday incident are unclear, but it is to be assumed that Emily Burke had a falling out with her parents over her questionable "activities" while in Japan. She has not been heard from since the incident, and is assumed dead, despite having stormed out of the family's hotel some three hours before the bombings began. The Burke family managed to avoid injury from the initial detonation of the bombs, but during the evactuation of the area, Aaron's mother, Julia Burke recieved blunt force trauma to the head by falling debris. Despite being carried to safety by her husband, Matthew Burke, the lack of medical supplies and personell in the days following the incident proved to be fatal. Julia Burke succumbed to her injuries three days after Lost Saturday. Four weeks later, Matthew, in grief over the loss of his wife and daughter, disappeared into what would become the Zone, leaving six-year-old Aaron with a nearby family taking refugees.

Days later, Aaron, still only vaguely comprehending the fate of his mother and sister, and also his father's actions, ran off on his own into the remnants of the city. It was not long before he discovered that being trapped alone in a land where people did not speak your language was not favorable to a small boy. It was also not long before he discovered that, when trapped in a desperate situation, even adults could be cruel. It was in a dark alley that two men approached Aaron and greeted him with a laugh and a swift kick to the gut. The child went flying backwards.

The men spoke gleefuly to one another in a strange language.

"Ба! Что тщедушный мало дерьмо." The other man.

"... но ему придется сделать. Не позволяйте ему уйти, Дмитрия. Я хочу наслаждаться этим."

The first man laughed again.

"Ха! Хорошо, вы больны ебет. У вашего удовольствия, но быстро. Я не хочу, чтобы видели с вами, пока вы это сделать."

Before the two men said anything further, a gunshot rang out. One of the men crumped to the floor immediately. The other turned to run, but was quickly dispatched similarly to his companion. Aaron looked to the source of the gunfire. A young-looking Asian man smiled at him and extended his hand. In accentless English, he spoke:

"Hey there, kid. I'm Akio Uematsu, with the MPS. I can take you to safety."

Gift:

A natural pathfinder, Aaron can immediately discern the entrances, exits, and paths to an objective with just a glance. In his natural eyes, such paths would emit a sort of dim amber glow, be they stairs or roads or something less obvious, like a drainpipe to climb or a ledge to vault over. This gift combined with neural implants transmitting blueprint data and sattelite imagery directly to Aaron's brain makes for a potent reconnasiance and tracking operative.

EYE-SEE Retinal Implant w/ Integrated DAEDALUS NavData Module
The standard EYE-SEE implants modified to project map data directily onto the user's retina in a HUD-like fashion. The DAEDALUS module is connected to the city network, and automatically brings up information about the city's local infrastructure such as building blueprints, sewer access, electrical control panels, etc. on a 3D dynamic map. In addition, DAEDALUS is linked to satellites owned or...borrowed...by the MPS, and is able to pull live feeds, but only at certain times of the day.
