Turkish soldiers are behaving with perfect gentility, and those that aren't are kept in check by the council set up to prevent such acts at the beginning of the war. Perhaps if the British Embassy had anyone who spoke the local language, as we believe is not the case, this confusion would not have taken place. We welcome any endeavour to resume communications between the Ottoman Empire and Britain, as we have nothing but the utmost respect for the British Empire.[/center]
