Anubis is the god of the dead, often confused with Osiris, The Lord of the undead, Anubis is under the command of Osiris and holds the task of leading the souks of the departed into the hall of judgment from which the souls life will be weighed against the feather of truth, if the soul is good than they are promised a happy afterlife, but if the soul is evil than the demon known as ammit the devourer will eat their heart,

For 2999 years, this was Anubis' job in the land of the dead,until the night when shu, the deity of wind tricked his grandson into entering the mortal realm in his immortal form, thereby sealing him in the mortal world, he now lives among the rest of the world in the body of another person.
