Alex was a little surprised when he saw that Colette Evans had joined their little party, but he still smiled and waved to her as well before looking to Jordyn whose face said it all. “That’s some of the scotch I had leftover, but if you’d rather, I do have some flavored rum.” He told her. He opened up his drawer and poured her a small glass of the vanilla rum he had and placed it in her hands. He heard Clary and Colette begin speaking, and once Billie explained she was half angel, the question came from Jordyn. Billie explained before he could. “There have been wars going on between the angel and demons, but the wars ended just recently. I want to say about fifty years ago. It’s why there aren’t many angels in the school. Because demons have always held a high population in this school. Colette here is the first in centuries to attend school here.” She explained and Alex nodded. “And because Billie and I are the highest standing demons in the school they expect us to stay away from any angelic breeds. But, we didn’t get involved because it breaks laws of hell, and with us being so close to Lucifer, it made life difficult. Demons were trying to recruit us for a long time. But it’s water under the bridge now, it’s just most of the demons we hang around would likely hurt Colette on sight simply because she’s part angel.” Alex explained further, and once he saw the shots being poured he saw Billie face light up at being dealer. Or the fact that Logan was so close to her, he hadn’t quite decided which. “I guess I can share with brother dearest.” She laughed before looking about the room. “Alright, Cole, truth or dare?” The blonde looked up, exhaling the last drag of her joint and thinking a moment, “I think I’d be afraid of your dares, sis, so I’m going truth all the way.” Billie nodded, taking up her shot glass, thinking a moment about what she could ask to make herself not drink. “Alright, who is the most attractive person in this room to you?” Colette shot a look. It was obvious that Billie hadn’t been around angelic breeds before. Or at least civilly. “Are we talking physical or just overall?” Billie had to mull that one over. “Overall, and I want an explanation.” Colette thought for a moment. “Overall, Clary. She’s got these immensely good vibes, and her smile is contagious. Got to give it to you, Clary, you’re beautiful.” Clary blushed a bit, but watched as Billie downed her shot, and Colette looked around the room. This would be a fun game, and her eyes noted the vibes flowing back and forth between Logan and Billie. They were a glorious bit of light, and Cole averted her eyes, only to look towards Clary, but then her attention turned to Alex. “Alright, truth or dare, Alex.” She said, and Alex looked a bit puzzled. He was certain she would have asked Clary or Logan, even Jo over him. “Hmm, I’ll go truth.” He said and Billie had to comment. “So lame, Ally boy. So lame.” She laughed, and he shot her a look. “Fine, dare.” He said, and Colette nodded. “I just thought truth would be easier on our new addition.” “Actually, you should play this with Salazar and Drakon, they’re good with dares. Billie knows.” Colette said, and Billie just smirked. “Their tutoring sessions always end on a high note.” “You set me up!” Alex accused and Billie just gave an innocent looking face. “I did no such thing.” She laughed but soon Clary looked to Cole. “What’s the dare?! I’ve seen how games of truth or dare go with the seers, they’re almost as bad as Billie.” Clary was excited and Colette just smiled. Colette had to think for a moment. She only ever gave and chose truth in games like this, but Salazar and Drain gave her plenty of ideas when they told her about their games with Billie. They were the only two seers that actually liked the demon girl. Still she smiled, “I dare you to…” she trailed off as she thought. But upon seeing the vibe link between he and the fae girl, Jordyn, she knew. “Kiss her.” Alex looked at her, not fully catching it at first, but he looked to Jordyn and then to Cole. Talk about being backed into a corner. Still, he offered a hand to Jordyn, Colette picking up a shot glass as Alex looked Jordyn in the eyes fully. She had beautiful eyes, he noted before he leaned down slightly and caught her lips. He didn’t make it last too long simply because there were people watching and he saw Colette down two shots. Billie leaned over and she gave her a high five. “What was that?” Billie laughed a bit, and Colette just smiled. “It’s a girl thing.” Colette answered, and Clary smiled, squealing a bit. “That was adorable. Alex, your face is such an adorable shade of red right now.” Clary teased him, and he scrunched his face a bit, watching as Billie leaned back against Logan. “Lo, truth or dare .” he said, and once Logan answered that he’d take a dare he went to speak, but he stopped and rethought his plan. After five seconds he figured it end up getting him killed, but he’d do it anyway. “Cat got your tongue?” Billie asked, and he saw her pendant, briefly and decided against his initial plan. “Simply because humans find it hilarious, and I think it would be too. I dare you to switch clothes with Billie until the end of our game. And you can’t run and hide in the bathroom, you have to change right here, right now.” He said, sitting down, and Billie looked to Logan. “Sorry, I know, his dares are so lame.” She laughed, pulling off her hood and then her shirt. It showed her belly button piercing and a brand on the left side of her rib cage in an old language. “Old demonic branding?” Colette asked, and Billie nodded. “What’s it mean? I don’t understand a bit of it, and it’s supposed to be derived of angelic languages.” Billie nodded. “It loosely translates to warrior. It was all the rave when we were younger. Any form I have, this brand will be there.” She said, wiggling out of her pants and looking at Logan. “C’mon! Alex keeps this room like a fucking icebox.” She crossed her arms over herself and Alex laughed a bit. “Not my fault I got fire and you got telekinesis.” He quipped. “Just shut up, lame ass.” She teased. Clary looked to Alex. “Not where I thought you were going to go, but I like it.” She winked. Colette shrugged. “Not going to lie, but I suck at daring and I did better than you.” She laughed a bit, “But I do see how it’s amusing, so dare well done!” Alex shook his head a bit sighed, “Hey, hey, one of us has to have tame dares.” He said before looking down to Jordyn and he smiled. “So, I’m sorry if that was out of line. I want you to know something though,” he said. Alex paused and looked at her, a small smile on his face. “I may have just met you, but I enjoy being around you, and I like you. So, please don’t take that kiss as just a dare. It wasn’t. I just like to take things slower with people I genuinely like.” He whispered a bit before turning to see if Logan and Billie were done changing.
