[Day 1 - Monday - 9:45 am] When Sin’chi asked for Amy’s name that was when a few others had entered the classroom. The first fresh face gave Hajime a slight suspense; he was quiet…and didn’t say anything at all. Then again waking up early in the morning to attend school wasn’t necessarily a wonderful thing to young faces. He decided to shake off the thoughts and acknowledged the presence of another face as well, Kaori. She wore some unusual attire but Hajime knows that everyone has their own style in clothing. He turned back around to the window and waited for Amy’s answer. But then suddenly something clicked in his mind. As he stared at the monument that was partially covered by the top of a tree from his point of view, a few dark images appeared in his mind; as if he got pulled into an instant nightmare. But that was Hajime in a nutshell. He has always had a look on his face as if he became disturbed or haunted by something. While working at the bakery a while back, the ones he worked with were intimidated by his focused expressions for they knew that something was wrong with him when they saw him. However, Hajime was the first to deny any rumor of him. He did not mention to anyone what exactly was wrong with him but before attending school he could remember his father speaking. “As a carrier of the Kinji Raremashita Superu (Japanese for ‘Forbidden Spell’) it would be apparent to have constant prophecies…which were the only negative drawback the carrier would have. You are known as the Vanguard and with every new vanguard come an entire new set of challenges.” His father once said. Ah…so that was why he kept having constant visions. Momentarily, he thought about what could happen. Suddenly, the school was transformed into a dark cathedral filled with ancient dead spirits fighting out in the courtyard. This was the look of the old school when ancient Kurai master, Akihiko Hisashi ruled. He visualized himself, Hanzo, Amy, and Kaori standing in the middle under the dark purple skies. Akihiko stepped down from the steps and raised his katana, wearing his armor and helmet. “The return is inevitable, Vanguard. You and your students will bow before the darkness!” he heard Akihiko yell. Suddenly, he snapped out of it and took a gasp before taking a few steps back placing his hand on his desk to recover himself. He panted a bit but tried to hide it from the class. He cleared his throat. After taking the time to clear his head, he looked up at the class. “I see we have…new faces…” he said a bit shaken up. “Give me your names while we wait for the others to arrive…” he finished and took a breath before sitting down in his desk.
