Valis looked up from her work without pausing, seeing new faces arrive. There was a dwarf, a human, and a winged elf, although her wings appeared to be for decoration unlike the wings of the other elf in the tavern. She perked her ears in curiosity as to what they had to say. She heard the lovely elf woman speak to the raven about bandits attacking a wagon. The dwarf was speaking to her about, and it seemed they need some extra hands to find the bandits. Seble glided down to the table, shaking her head as she knew what Valis was thinking. They just arrived in the warm tavern and there was no way she was going back outside. Valis pet her tiny head to calm her, thinking she was still worked up about Bernard. When the shield maiden, as she was called, announced the mission, there was no way Valis was going to turn it down. She didn’t care for the money, but more so for the joy of helping people. It was a search and destroy, and she wasn’t too keen on ending lives of others. She could help them out if anyone else got hurt, being a druid and all. “If you don’t mind, I would like to come,” the centaur chimed, “I found the poor dearie on the side of the road and brought him to town. I could perhaps show you where. If anyone else is coming and needs something to wear for the cold I could whip something up real quick.” As if to prove so, Valis knitted a bit faster on the sweater she was working on. Although, she already had plenty of other apparel suited for cold weather in her bag.
