[@Fallenreaper] Well the most common method besides the NoW or some NoW related artifact ( two in existence and currently on active characters) are FTL/WARP Drive ships. Whiteholes, Blackholes. Syncretic parallel worlds, and of course warp gates between parts of a galaxy/universe etc. Depending on the fictional setting of your character, their technology/magical level of sophistication should dictate their ability to interact with the MV. 

Some characters just get lucky and find a magic "Doo-dad" that allows them to go anywhere unless prohibited by another player's designations on their "world" or "setting". 

Nothing is set in stone: The last MV attempt had a group of players actively seeking to take the NoW and a group ready to defend it.
