The loud roar of the crowd was absolutely exhilarating. This year's tournament was moved to a much larger location due to popular demand, and Vadim just couldn't get enough of the excitement in the air. He could even hear the crowd pretty well from the locker room that he had found himself in, which he thought was rather impressive. Must be a full house tonight. He chuckled at the thought of the countless number of people outside waiting for the next match. He stowed his signature coat away in the locker he was assigned before deciding to relax on one of the nearby benches. He'd enjoy the silence while it lasted, because another fighter was bound to come in at any moment, and most of them were so outwardly arrogant that it was hard to hold a conversation with them. Before he could continue that thought, however, a somewhat mellow beeping sound sounded throughout the arena, and the many screens were updated with the contenders in the next matchup. He recognized one of the names, but that was it. Korian. He felt like he'd seen the name somewhere before, but merely accepted that it was from a previous tournament without much thought. The other name he did not recognize at all, so it was probably just a newbie. Deciding that it would be fun to see, Vadim got up and headed out to the spectators' area of the arena. He had a feeling that this year's tournament would be a doozy.
