Kintya smiled as her companions accepted the drinks, and poured herself another. She was listening intently to Silus, who had explained that there was a bounty mission he wanted them to help on. Pffft, whatever, Kintya thought to herself. I ain't a bounty hunter. When he mentioned the 100k credits to be made, she stopped, and looked at him. That's... A lot of money. And Silus believed it was doable, with their skill set, and, most importantly, equal shares. That is 20k right there. An interesting offer.

Silus made his goodbyes,. and left the table, paying his tabs and making his exit. Kintya looked around the table, and smirked, slightly tipsy now. "Well, who's crazy enough to do this bounty mission with Silus? I mean, he's hunting all of us at this table. Think it's a trap?." She slammed another shot, and poured some for everyone else. "But if he's telling the truth, that's like, 20 thousand credits. You could do a lot on Tryliin with 20 thousand... I dunno, should we trust him?"

Jax's robotic movements could he heard clearly as he made his way up to the table, finding a perfect opportunity to be able to interject. "Observation: It would only be logical to accept his offer... If he is telling the truth then you strand to gain a lot of funding, otherwise if it is a trap you stand to rid yourself of him right then and there do you not?" Grabbing onto the near by chair and moved it, just allowing himself to lower as if he was sitting, he had no muscles to tire anyway. "Statement: I am J-33-X, however you may call me Jax"

Temujin laughed at Elin's response to his question, and watched as she claimed to out drink Kintya. For whatever reason, her attitude towards the Mongol-Kadesan was offensive, as she often jabbed at him with names and insults. "I understand the need to appear tough, especially on this planet." Temujin stared into her eyes unflinchingly. "But you must be careful with how you treat people. Some may not be as easy-going as I. Your body guards won't always be there to protect you." Normally, if someone had insulted him in the way that Elin had on Kadesa, he would have gutted their insides and worn them like trophy necklaces. But alas, he felt neither threatened by her words nor her bodyguards. Temujin merely saw her as a scared child that needed to be brave in a dark and unforgiving world. He listened to Silus' proposition and the table discussed their options after he left.

"He is a man to be trusted. As I've mentioned, Silus is one of the few bounty hunters who stays true to their word. That does not make collecting this bounty any easier...but that makes it all the more fun!"

Elin's merry attitude was abruptly halted after Temujin leaned in and threatened her, at least that's what she thought. Her smile disappeared and the her expression became very solemn and serious. Temujin most likely meant it to come off as helpful advice and/or concern but the way he stared almost made it seem like he wanted to gut her right here and now. She had no quip and remained silent while the rest of them spoke about the bounty hunter's proposition. Reon spoke fondly for it. "I'm with Temujin, any bounty that high is bound to be fun!" Reon loved Temujin already as he raised his glass and grunted with a smile. Elin was terrified of him. She poked at Reon's side and climbed up to his ear. "I wanna go." She whispered. Reon could hear her sincerity and nodded in response. He climbed out of the booth and helped Elin out. She didn't even turn around or pay any attention to the robot. She just went straight for the door and went outside.

Reon chuckled to himself before turning around and addressing the table, Temujin specifically. "Don't worry about it, Temujin. I heard what you said and I do agree she is a bit... crude sometimes but she just doesn't warm up to people that fast. I remember it took her a whole month for her to stop using nicknames for me." He glanced around the table and slammed his hands on it making a loud clatter and the place went quiet for a second. "Haha! I'll see all of you tomorrow!" Reon bellowed with a huge grin on his face. Then he turned and walked out of the cantina with a skip in his step.

Oh no, not the robot.

Unfortunately, it had tracked them down, and was now sitting at the table. Kintya felt greatly unsettled by this, but heard the robot explain the situation. It had been slinking around, and overheard them, apparently. Kintya was about to leave, but it spoke up, and pointed out some very true facts and outcomes. As much as she didn't like machines, it had a point, and with it's impressive fire power at their side, the mission would go a lot smoother, albeit it won't be a stealth one anymore. She mulled over her drink, and spoke up:

"Well, you do have a point there. And we can always use a walking death machine. We're meeting at this address tomorrow, although I think you and I should meet up beforehand. Just so we don't scare the living shit out of Silus when you walk up. This mission is looking less profitable now, but still worth a shot. So, we'll see you there, Jax...." Kintya wrote down the address to meet her at, before turning to Temujin, holding up her shot. "Let's drink to the robot, for being utterly terrifying!"

Korrin chose now to walk up to the small interesting group and speak up to offer his services. Those who were left at the table seemed amicable enough, now that the bounty hunter and the mad woman with all her entourage were gone."Hello there," he spoke gently and carefully, choosing his words "I regrettably admit that I have been listening to you as you sat there, and i observed you earlier in the day, while you fought." He admitted the rudeness calmly, moving straight into his offer. "I am a Kin'eko'chi, I know not of your knowledge of my people, but as a child I trained as a pilot, and then as an Uta'eko'kami. I can provide numerous assistances, and your bouty hunting associate would know not who I am. I could be your, as humans love to put it, 'Trick up your sleeve'. Yes?" He asked.

Korrin was hopeful that these people would accept him. He was unsure of how much they would know of the kin'eko'chi, seeing as his species was more or less unknown even in their own star system. On a distant planet like Tryliin very few people had ever met a kin'eko'chi and those rare few that survived the encounter had little positive to say for them.

The shots that Kintya poured Temujin warmed his throat, but did little to inebriate him. Perhaps the sudden intrusion of the robot, and now this Kin'eko'chi had sobered his mood. He had brought these same exact individuals up to the group just moments before, and now they just so happen to show up right after Silus, Elin, and her bodyguards leave?

"It seems our share of the pie is getting smaller by the minute." Temujin snorted, noting how Kintya was quick to involve the robot. "Perhaps I'll be as forthcoming as my friend here, should you get a small percentage of the reward. After all, what does a robot need money for?" He laughed. Then he turned to the Kin'eko'chi.

"I've fought along side one of your kind before." Temujin grumbled. His face was expressionless, even after he took the shot of watered down alcohol. "He was a cunning bastard. If you're anything like him, then you're more than welcome, provided that you agree to the same terms as the robot. Sorry, but I just can't trust either of you yet."

A small green LED light flickered on his helmet. Temujin nodded to everyone at the table, grabbing his helmet placed on the seat cushion next to him. "Well, I must sadly depart. Long day today, and it looks like it will be an even longer day tomorrow." He rose from the ledge of the lounge sofa and bid everyone farewell. "I'll see you all soon! Try not to die until then!" He chuckled loudly as he trotted off toward the exit. The mongol-kadesan made eye contact with the barmaid that was serving their table, then shuffled through one of the pockets of his utility belt. "Here. Mikron Ore. That should cover the rest of the tab for our table." The toothy grin stayed on his face long after he donned his helmet and exited the cantina.
"We're concerned. That's all."

"Your concerns are well-noted, pups."

"Have you strayed from the goal? Have you forgotten what needs to be done? You waste your time-"

"Watch your tongue, boy, or I'll claim another trophy on this day."

"Forgive him, sir...Understand that we only-"

"No, you both listen and understand this: Question my loyalty to the cause again and I will use your empty skulls for drinking mugs. Now... have you retrieved the files?"

Jax sat there listening to their reactions to him, of course some ignored the walking piece of mining equipment, but others did react to him and even responded to his words in mind, which pleased him greatly, showing his placed status with a more friendly and fluid moment of his body in a nodding like fashion. However, he did have some things to say to them, as they seemed to misunderstand his goal in this, which was to be expected of meat bags.

"Correction: I wish for no reward in this in devour, but I will aid it if you wish Blue" He was clearly speaking to Kintya, since he did not know her name he was simply calling her by what identified her as a individual. It was at this point that Temujin was going to leave also. "Statement: Falwell Wild Male" Once again, just something that he looked like. "Mockery: It pleases me that you find me terrifying Blue" Looking to the new arrival Jax spoke without care for if anyone else was speaking. "Observation: Kin'ek'chi, from the planet Dith'alla'om. Biology of a tertiary organ system, great physical condition..." Many may not have heard of his race, but machines do not hear, they have stored data, and so could download what they needed. "Statement: Having such a resource would be beneficial to your cause. I suggest that it meets up with us tomorrow Blue, as not surprise the others."

Kintya swilled her shot, and finished it, the bottle now empty. She was inundated with new faces now, and it made her uncomfortable. She wanted to leave, but there was still business to be done. She swayed slightly, very drunk now, and put her arms on the table, resting her face in her hands briefly, before rising up again, and speaking up.

"Fine, it's all good. By the *hic* way, it's Kintya..." She held out her hand to the robot, but the effort was too much, and she quickly brought her hand back on the table. "...Though a lot of people seem to be calling me Blue. Never seen a PhoGen *hic* before huh?" Kintya got up from the table, and stumbled, surprised at how hard the booze had hit her. "Well, here's the address for you, mister alien man..." She gave him a piece of paper with the address where she was meeting them before hand on it. "Be pre*hic*ared for a tough fight, though you guys look like you can handle *hic* it. " With that, she started to make her way out of the canitna, stumbling some more. "Adios, amigos *hic*" She waved at them, and made her way out the door, bumping into an entering couple.
The next day, 2744 hours, Location: 47th Apartments, Oasis.

"Ugh, my head..." Kintya held her head in her hands, and took another stim to try and kick the hangover, injecting it into her wrist. She had drunk way too much last night, and kicked herself for doing so. Right before they storm a gang hideout, as well. Goddammit, I'm an idiot, she thought to herself. It was evening now, and still Kintya felt like crap. But at least she was upright, and managed to meet up with Jax and who she learnt was Korrin, though little else about him. They all sat and stood around a burnt out apartment, the roof caved in most places and holes in the walls and floors. Kintya lit a cigarette, and waited with the others for Silus to appear, the cool air of Tryliin making her shiver slightly. She took a deep drag and exhaled, unaware of what they would learn in the warehouse. All their lives were about to be turned upside down in one single night.

Temujin watched the morning wake from his balcony, mulling over the events that transpired the night before. Ohkar was perched on the railway next to him, and together they embraced silence like two predators calculating the outcome of today's bounty.

"Today, will be an extravagant hunt." He said to Ohkarr, combing his sleek wings that jittered in the cold. "We will see the true potential of our newfound companions..."

Ohkarr squawked quietly, eyes darting between Temujin and the site of two winged avians in the distance. Temujin spotted them sailing around an apartment rooftop a few distances away, and with a simple nod, Ohkarr leapt off the rail. He watched as the bird fell toward the earth, then straightened its wings to arch its way toward the direction of his new prey. Ohkarr did as trained, approaching its victims without trace as he glided smoothly from below. It stalked them; reading their strafing patterns and corrected its course angle until he found an opening.

"Now." Temujin whispered.

Ohkarr saw the opportunity just as his companion did. He engaged his prey at a quickened pace, rolling with the gusts of wind to gain momentum. Before either of his prey could screech, Ohkarr had extended its limbs and crunched vital areas, immediately feasting on his breakfast, mid-air.

"Good."

As Ohkarr made his way back, Temujin noticed something wrapped around one of the legs of the avians. He whistled a distinct shrill that called for Ohkarr to return quicker. As he arrived, Temujin raised his open hand, gesturing for Ohkarr to hand over the bird. Reluctantly, it nabbed at its fleshy neck and dropped it onto his palm. Upon closer inspection, Temujin realized it was a papered note wrapped tightly around its leg with copper wire. He grasped it from its bindings and opened it. Its contents brought a satisfying grin on the Mongol-Kadesan's face.

"Target confirmed."

The plan is set. He chucked the paper down below and walked back into his lodgings. "Close the window..." A muffled voice came from his bed. "It's freezing." Temujin's grin remained as he glanced at the curves of his latest distraction. Her skin ruminated with dark opalescent hues of deep sapphire, contrasting with her bright limestone frizzled hair. He walked over and gently leaned forward, kissing her shoulder. He had, as his people would call it, "flesh-danced" with a variety of women since his arrival on Tryliin --- a result of usual cast off flings from many drunken nights of stupor; but she was different. She had a purpose. She had a part to play.

"We must get ready, my love." Such gentle words were only reserved for those who risked to tame his battle-scarred heart. "today is a new day..."

----

The place of gathering was in worse condition than his own housing. Clearly this part of Oasis was the poorest of its lowtown neighborhoods. He weaved through a sea of homeless drifters that littered the building with ill regard for themselves, and those around them. The smells were pungent, but nothing worth his concern. The sight of these unfortunate individuals did not repulse Temujin, rather, they were a reflection onto himself. He too, is a drifter; a man without a home. The only difference between him and them, he reasoned, was his will to not let that fact destroy him. He had come too far to let that happen.

Temujin eventually found the apartment room. His sensors detected two organic energy signatures, and another oscillating at a more mechanical frequency. He entered through the door without a knock, and matched the helmet analysis with the people in the room, noting the absence of Silus, Elin and her bodyguards. His helmet brought up chemical analysis of the dissipated smoke coming from Kintya's cigarette, and that which she exhaled. "I have a more quality narcotic. Less harmful. More aromatic." Temujin's voice came at a low volume from his helmet speakers. He nodded to the robot, and then to the Kin'eko'chi. Trusting them was still an issue, but their early show of attendance - compared to the rest of the group - at the very least, showed commitment. "So, Kintya... are you ready?" Temujin glanced through the giant opening of the ceiling that exposed the outside air. In a split second, he caught Ohkarr gliding effortlessly above.

The sharp kick from the powdered "Nectar" seemed to burn Elin's nose but soon after, it relaxed Elin's nerves and she collapsed on her couch, staring up at the slowly rotating ceiling fan. It was late and she was alone finally and Elin would sometimes end her day snorting or shooting up drugs as she recollected the day. Reon and Cylandus had all gone back to their respective places. Markus had first watch outside Elin's door. This was nothing new to Elin, She was a valued asset to the Crimson Scales and they spared no expense to make sure that asset did not get caught by any authority. The thought of Elin just being an "asset" made her feel sick because what if she no longer was an asset? That fathead, Temujin was right. Her body guards would leave her as soon as they stopped receiving money. Markus and Cylandus would be gone. Reon might leave her, too. The Torros was nice enough at an arm's length but it seemed all superficial. Plus it doesn't matter how nice anyone was on Tryliin. People needed money to survive and Reon would go wherever that money would be. He has bills, a family somewhere out in the vast universe he was providing for. Elin wouldn't hate him for leaving because he would have to. He probably wanted to go home more than anything else. Outside of those three, Elin has her older sister and brother, but by no means were they close. Erik was an authoritative hard ass in the human navy while Emelia was a stuck-up bitch. Elin tried reconnecting with her sister about a year ago, but that fell short when Emelia wasn't thrilled to hear Elin was a criminal now.

Elin bent over and snorted another line of "Nectar". The sharp kick hit the thin girl harder this time, causing a bit of the jitters. She fell back onto the couch and resumed staring at the ceiling fan. Secretly Elin hoped that the people she met today were the real deal. People who weren't corrupted by the Tryliin curse of just caring about themselves. Looking back, that's why Elin offered that damn blue girl a hand up. That fathead and blue just seemed to be selfless people instead of selfish. That was at least what Elin had hoped.

Elin closed her eyes and her mind teased her of the thought of a different life. Back home, maybe, but she couldn't tell. She fell asleep before she figure out.
A sharp rapping on the door violently woke Elin up. She leaped from her couch and onto her feet as she stared at the door for a moment. "Elin! Open up! We're going to be late to meet those whoevers from yesterday's meetin'." Elin knew that very deep, commanding voice. "Hold on, Reon!" Elin shouted back. Thankfully Elin had already packed her bag with every thing she'd be needing today. She grabbed it and ran out the door. Reon told her that Markus and Cylandus were not interested in the bounty because the bounty pot would be further reduced from the already numerous people partaking. Reon said he counted seven.

The trip to the meeting spot was short, as they were in the neighborhood already. As the two of them walked, Elin geared herself up. Her right arm was covered with metal exoskeleton, mimicking the bone structure underneath her skin. This bit was designed to help Elin aim and shoot her machine gun with accuracy and without most of the recoil. On her other arm was big metal brace covering her forearm. Inside the brace was a machine, of Elin's own design, that would project an glowing orange oval shield that could cover Elin's entire body. Finally she had what looks like a pair of ski googles resting on her forehead. The googles were fitted with thermal vision to help Elin seen in the dark. To power all this equipment, Elin had a small rough box hanging from her belt. Inside it held several photon batteries that powered Elin's makeshift equipment. Of course Elin had a few grenades, gadgets, and her machine gun stowed away still in her bag.

Reon entered the run down room first and eyed everyone. Elin followed but kept her distance from everyone. She felt embarrassed when pratically everyone else was wearing an official combat suit/armor of some kind. Elin looked a bit dingy with her junkyard equipment. She let Reon address everyone on behalf of them both. "Well I'm glad to see we made it. Is this everyone, yea?"

Korrin had arrived prepared, he had his Kan'kami slung across his back by a black strap, and its long black carapace gleamed with a fresh coating of oil. The shaping of the weapon served both aesthetically and mechanically. The mechanics of it, were relatively simple, the exterior construction was a nonmetallic material made to absorb and internally refract all magnetic energy, the interior of the weapon was a complex matrix of superconductive metals that had been made to run even in when in heated conditions, the sculpting of the magnetic energy would give the crystalline ammunition a powerful electric charge when loaded, then with the pull of the trigger, the magnetic energy would channel through the ammunition differently, acting similarly to a human railgun, launching the electrically charged crystal, turning it into a high voltage device with huge kinetic force. The aesthetic shaping was distinctly insectoid in nature, almost appearing to be a long, stretched out wasp, with the stinger replacing the bore of the weapon, the wings and eyes acting as sights, the fore legs acting as a stock, the center four legs acting as grip and trigger, and the rear legs acting as an adjustable mount. His electrically charged pulse gun rested in it's custom holster on his hip, and he had taken extra care in packing a small rucksack of supplies he thought might come in handy while setting to this task. He had even gone so far as to carefully reapply an extra layer of polish to his eyes, so as to ensure clarity of vision.

As the large man and the crass woman and her companions entered, the woman asked if everyone had arrived, Korrin responded quietly, "I believe so. We simply now wait for the benefactor bounty hunter to arrive." He had been leaning against one of the walls up until that point but now he stood up to his full height. As he stood he extended his stingers baring them in a cross over his chest, it was the Kin'eko'chi's way of greeting and held special importance to those who trained as Uta'eko'kami, as it meant that at that time, they would not be ending one anthers paths. He felt that it was only proper to extend this traditional pack to these new and interesting companions as their paths met.

Kintya nodded at Temujin's and Elin's arrival, and gave out an amused huff. "Thanks for the offer Temujin, but I'm not interested. At least I know what tobacco is... And since we cured cancer, what's the harm anyways?" She flicked the butt onto the ground, and squashed it out with her boot, twisting her foot gently on top of it. She heeded Elin's question, and looked around the group, making a head count. "Not quite, seems Silus is the only one not here... Not sure what to think about that." Kintya laughed, and looked around "You guys still trust him? I sure as hell don't, but I need a lot of money. So what choice do I have?" She pondered on the thought, and sighed, head in her hand.

It was then she noticed a flicker of red light on the ground. It was gone so quick, darting away, that she almost took it for a trick of the light. She looked up puzzled and, head cocked to one side, began to speak "Hey, did anyone else just see tha-" Her eyes fell on Elin, and she saw it again: A red dot, moving up her body, and coming to rest at the side of her head. Kintya's eyes widened in sudden realization, as she darted towards her, military instincts lighting up in an instant. "Shit, SNIPER!!" She tackled Elin to the ground, just as the slug whizzed through the air and blew apart a sizable chunk of the adjacent wall. Rounds began to fly through the air, as several unknown assailants began to pour through the hall entrance on the far left, taking up defensive positions along the rubble. Six of them, carrying scatter guns and pistols, and including one Kintya remembered distinctly: The thug she beat up yesterday.

The thug shouted, and pointed his gun at the group, laughing menacingly. "You and your pussy friends are f**ked now!"

The silent robot looked on and waited, unlike the others he did not get nervous, well not for things like this anyway as waiting around and standing still did not tire his joints like it did meat bags... Though he had to admit some oil would go down really well at this point, though it seemed he would have to wait, as at that moment everything went down, Jax was a little shocked by the sudden attack, though he did expect there to be fighting he did not think they were smart enough to use snipers.

Using his hulking frame Jax took a wide step in front of everyone, pointing his back to the gang of thugs so that they could use him as cover. "Observation: It seems we are under attack, but not by the ones we expected." As the light firearm rounds bounce off his frame, others denting and weakening his armor, Jax's left arm spun around at a impossible angel before laying down a volley of spikier fire. "Suggestion: Taking cover would be wise at this point. " With that he expected everyone to be out of the way so he could move back and take his own cover behind a building wall, the only thing really big enough to hide him.

Elin had narrowly evaded a fatal sniper shot, courtesy of Kintya's valiant courage and quick reflexes. A mad shuffle was heard at the far end of the hall, followed by angered threats from the very bounty hunter Kintya disposed of yesterday.

No... this is all wrong. This can't be happening.

Temujin growled a slew of incoherent curses in his native tongue. A plan he orchestrated for months was now potentially ruined. Had Silus sold him out? Did he tip off this lowly bounty hunter to their location? Gaignun Mordan was slowly slipping away from his fingers. The Mongol-Kadesan's bloodlust erupted. The robot nobly used its own body as a shield, deflecting the incoming spray of bullets. Temujin flicked the pin from a smoke grenade strapped to his utility belt and chucked it down the hall.

"Everyone stay away from the windows until Ohkarr handles the sniper! This smoke screen won't last long. Distract them here, I'll flank them from below." Temujin then craned his head to everyone in the room in an almost robotic-like motion. "Whoever wants to follow, follow. But we hunt quietly. I have trophies to collect." Temujin initiated the sensors on his helmet, scanning the density of the floor for its weak spot. He spotted a huge collection of mold accumulated at the area just underneath his feet. Perfect. A loud thud signified that the smoke grenade went off, and a dense charcoal cloud soon enveloped their assailants. Temujin then probed the ground; feeling out for the highest concentration of mold, and punched it until his hand went all the way through. He quickly yanked his hand out, took several steps back, and jumped forward, high into the air. Tucking his head in and bringing his legs up to his chest with his hands, Temujin cannonballed through the floor and landed in the room below. He quickly dashed forward, unscrewing the knife-end of his lance. Unlike his usual, plodding gait, the Mongol-Kadesan's steps were quick and light-footed. The rage fueled from his thwarted plans burned deep in his veins, and the only way he could sate his wrath, was to plunge his blade deep into another man's skull.

Korrin felt his system kick into overdrive, his hearts stopped their synchronized beats an began working in a coordinated fashion so as to keep his blood in constant circulation. That shift in biochemistry caused several other near instantaneous reactions to occur, the first was that cells in his abdomen began secreting a substance similar in composition to human adrenalin, the second was that the glands that lay along the ridges of his eyes pumped a gel like fluid over the crystalline substance that coated his eyes, the third and final biochemical reaction happened in glands just bellow his elbows, shooting venom through his stingers causing a potent viscous ooze to form at the tips.

Korrin stood frozen for an instant allowing the venom to slide down the tips of the stingers coating both spines completely. By then the robot Jax had moved to take cover behind a wall, and Temujin had thrown a smoke grenade and jumped through the floor. Korrin took a moment, no less then a single heartbeat to analyze the situation. Kintya and Elin appeared to be safe and secured now, Temujin was going to flank them from below, and he assumed that the others would provide covering fire. He decided his best use would be to enter from the front providing a thorough nuisance for the outlaws to deal with.

With that decision made Korrin took a single deep breath, filling his lungs, and launched himself into the smoke of the grenade Temujin had thrown. He could see the images of the outlaws, both the infrared emitted by their bodies, as well as the normal vague shapes an individual without kin'eko'chi vision could see.

He took the first stance of Kage'bushiro, then systematically began lancing out with his stingers, patiently identifying, the stabbing out at each outlaw. He had already poisoned and killed three by the time the began to realize there was an enemy in their midst. Once they realized he was there however it cause more chaos and confusion for the outlaws who, unlike Korrin, could not see through the smoke.

It wasn't long after Silus left the Green Oasis before a small boy ran up to him with a note. "Message for you Mr. Silus" the boy said handing off the note. "Good job boy, now head on home." Silus said to the boy passing him a credit chit before continuing on his way reading the note. "So that robot and some other figure decided to throw their lot in after I left. Well I hope they don't plan to get a cut, I don't take well to backroom deals..." He thought to himself as he walked lighting the not on fire and tossing it to burn. "But I have some work to do before the big show tomorrow." He continued his thought turning down a back alley. After following the alley for a bit he comes up to the back door of a local restaurant. He knocks on the door a metal plate slides open and then the door soon opens, Silus enters the building and the door slams closed behind him. A burly man leads Silus to a basement icebox of the building and opens the door. "You have ten minutes" Silus hands the man a Credit Chit, "And you get two bags." The man finished and Silus walked inside leaving his personal equipment outside the ice box, the door closes behind him leaving Silus in a dark cold room. The lights turn on and the Ice Box is covered floor to ceiling with weapons, ammo, explosives, and anything else you would ever want to do some damage. Silus just smiled, “Well time to get to work.” He said before he went over to one wall and grabbed two bags from the wall and started to fill them with various weapons and ammo that would be useful for the mission. When the ten minutes were up the door opened again and Silus left the ice box with two bags in hand, and after collecting his own gear Silus went off on his way heading to the Apartment building that the group was supposed to meet in the next day.
While Silus was on his way to the meeting spot something caught his eye, one of the bounty hunters who had planned to attack the fortress was talking with one of the bounty hunters that had been beaten earlier. Staying out of sight Silus listened in as the beaten hunters were being hired to attack Silus’ group before they had a chance to assault the compound. “Damn, I guess they caught on, well no problem just more work for me to do…” He thought to himself remaining out of sight until after the other group had made their deal until he made his way to the apartment building. Once on the roof Silus starts to prepare for the oncoming assault that he knows will happen the next day. He spent a good portion of the night setting up a few counter traps and hiding weapons in strategic positions on the roof. Once everything was set up Silus repacked the bags with the unused weapons and hides them under a tarp on a corner of the roof. After finishing his preparations Silus went down stairs to rest in one of the abandoned rooms. “This job better be worth it… Things just seem to get harder every second.” He said out loud before getting a bit of shut-eye.

It was about midday before Silus woke up with a crick in his neck. He stood up slowly and did a bit of a work-out before suiting up for the mission. With a few hours left before the meet up time Silus made his way up to the roof of a nearby building waiting and watching on how their opponents would start to set up their ambush. His time in black ops had taught Silus one thing patience and as expected this patience paid off as Silus was able to watch as a sniper set up on a roof opposite the apartment building. “Well that could be a problem… Now how to eliminate the sniper and notify those people to the real weapons that are stashed up there…” He thought watching and waiting. And once he had his plan Silus left the roof and went to make a few “last minute” preparations.

Time past and dusk fell on Oasis, and it wasn’t long before the battle started on the rooftop. With his last minute preparations complete Silus had himself posted on the roof two buildings over ready to make is move. Silus stood with his rifle draped over his shoulder and a holo recorder on his other hand. Just after Temujin’s smoke screen went up he made his move. Silus chucked the holo recorder over to the meeting roof, the projector slid to Kintya’s feet and projected a map of the roof with all the hidden weapons and traps he had hid. He then prepared his rifle and started to take shots at the sniper to draw his attention and allow the others to focus on the fight on the roof.

Oof! Elin grunted as Kintya tackled her to the ground. The loud crack of high caliber shot still rang through her ears. "Holy shit..." Elin quietly said to herself. She could just kiss that genetically altered blue face for saving her life, but due to gunfire erupting and Elin's very overwhelming fear, she didn't budge. In fact, Elin sort of withdrew from reality. She couldn't really hear what everyone else was saying. She saw mouths moving, smoke filling the room, and flashes coming from the other end of the room. "N-no this isn't right. I..I'm worth more alive...They can't kill me... That's not right..." Elin's mutterings were drowned out from all the gunfire.

--

Reon's attention snapped fully on Kintya and Elin as they literally just dodged a bullet. A swell of relief washed over him as she saw they were both alright, but the assassins wasted no time as a squad of them barged into the opposite side of the room. Reon snarled as he drew flung his pump shotgun forward and blasted a few rounds down the room. With the smoke filling the room, everyone's aim was bound to be wild. Temujin had the bright idea of going underneath but likely to ambush instead of escape. They couldn't all follow him and sitting here with a barrage of bullets hitting everywhere and anywhere, Reon decided it was probably best to get out of this room.

This place wasn't really built to last and like Temujin, Reon was going to bust down a wall but he didn't need any fancy gadget to pick where he'd go, he'd just ram the wall until it broke. Reon ducked his head and ran right past Kintya and Elin. His thick skull and horns bashed against the wall with a sickening thud, but the wall crumbled underneath his strength and he broke through to the other side. He turned to face his allies in this situation. They were a bit scattered but Kintya and Elin where the closest to hole in the wall. "Everyone this way!" Reon's voice boomed above all the gunfire. The glow of a holo projection was faintly displayed among the smoke, but Reon didn't really pay attention to it.

Everyone seemed to be moving with the exception of Elin who had luckily deployed her shield but was still lying on the ground. "Come on there, girly. You'll be fine." He said as he wrapped his large, hairy arm around her waist and carried her back into the other room. He set her down gently on counter top of some kind before turning taking a position right by the hole in the wall. His gun was drawn but he wasn't going to shoot. Not until he knew everyone was out of the way.

I'm gonna f**cking kill you, Silus... Knew it was too good to be true. Should've just capped him in the cantina, save us all the trouble... Luckily for the group, Jax had been quite intuitive and used his body as cover for them, saving a few of his companions from a deadly volley of fire. Shouts from the other side of the room from the bandits erupted loudly, as they panicked from the sight of the huge machine. "You didn't say there'd be f**king battle droids, Jousa!" Their ranks broke too, as Korrin flew in, whirling his stingers through the air in majestic precision, more akin to a complicated dance than lethal close quarters combat. As for the sniper, they hadn't fired at them in a while...

The sniper was lining up shots on the group when the ledge started to chip and crack from shots dangerously close to her head. She looked into the direction of the fire, seeing a lone figure professionally walking along slowly, yet firing continuously and methodically with unnatural accuracy. 'Who the hell is that?' She said aloud to herself, as she fired two rounds back at him, going wide of actually getting a hit. She ducked down, and reloaded, before popping up to see his position now. This proved to be a lethal mistake, as a round slammed into her head right at that moment, killing her instantly. Her body flew back as the back of her head exploded out, and she fired a shot into the sky, before hitting the ground with a loud thud.

With the chaos, Kintya had failed to notice Silus at first, due to the bull man caving a wall in right beside her: With his head? Damn, that's pretty bad ass, actually, she thought aloud to herself, and began to move towards the new escape route. Wait, what the hell is that box? She started to move back, thinking it was an explosive charge, when a map popped into existence and showed red dots along the roof, with weapon stats and types indicated for each dot. Who left this here... Kintya looked up, and saw Silus, firing in the direction of the sniper. Damn, can't believe I doubted you for a second, Bounty Hunter.

the thugs had had enough, and one of them, an insect like creature, had it's throat slit by Korrin, throwing up a massive pile of tentacles and clutching it's throat before crumpling to the ground. "Screw this, Jousa! I'm out! You win, assholes!" The remaining two thugs, the ringleader and another slug man, began to retreat down the stair well and run through the next floor for their lives, unaware of Temujin running in the opposite direction towards them.

The smoke cleared, and Kintya huffed happily, glad to be alive still. She holstered her gun, and let the silence swarm over her, peaceful and envigorating. "Alright, give a shout if you're not dead. Oh and Silus, get down here so I can either kick your ass for setting up the ambush, or hug you for these new guns." She picked up the holo recorder, placed it on the table for all to see and started to procure the various weapons. "Alright. First in, best dressed. Santa Silus up there has new toys lying around the place, just for us, so grab what you can. Oh, and Elin, we'll call it even now, yeah?"

Silus gave a smirk under his mask as he saw the sniper go down. "Guess I still got it, well that should take care of that." he thought to himself before turning his attention to the battle going on in the apartments. Things seemed to be going in their favor so he decided to sit out and save his ammo for the real fight coming up. And with the others mopping up the ambush Silus went to go gather the two bags full of weapons he had stashed elsewhere. By the time Kintya was yelling at Silus he was already gone off getting the rest of his equipment. It wasn't long before Silus came walking down the hall with the two bags. "And the hidden weapons were just scraps thrown to help you with this fight, Although it looks like you didn't need the extra help. Well there is more Ammo and a few more guns and some grenades in this bag so stock up, the next part won't be as easy as the first." He said while tossing one of the bags onto the table. "As for this one, well lets just say its my little bag of tricks. I'll be keeping these to help out later" he added motioning to the bag he was still carrying. "As for the ambush, our "rivals" heard we were going after the bounty as well and tried to stop us from getting to the mansion at all. So I think we have wasted enough time, Stock up and prepare to move, our distraction will be moving soon and we would be stupid to miss our chance to attack." He continued before turning and moving to disarm the unused traps while the others picked up weapons to help with the attack.
