Gratefulness of the Unmarred

Landing even as his opponent reached into his wound, Raelis outstretched his free hand, but it was too late. Even as the heat from his blade and environment rushed forwards, it was over. The man collapsed to the ground before his eyes. Raelis roasted him anyways, surrounding him with scorching heat till the body was nothing more than ash. "Dishonorable," he said as the body finished burning, shaking his head. The light around him dissipated rapidly. Raelis released the heat energy into the air, allowing it to disperse as it rose upwards. Sighing once more, Raelis drew the nanobots that now resided in the remains of Jordan's body, to himself on the wind, allowing them to nestle back onto his armor. No point in losing even one if he could help it. Turning away from the remains, Raelis looked to the sky, his eyes to glowing fiercely. It had been short and he supposed for that he could be grateful. Perhaps his battle here would benefit him in some other way. "I would return to the Hall," he called out to the empty battlefield, almost sure that the Skallagrim could hear him. A moment later, he vanished.
