Vadim's opponent was a man with a similar build to his. He was just a fee inches taller than Vadim's average 5'10", and he had roughly the same muscle size. Based on what Vadim knee from his own powers, though, power could be easily hidden. He decided to stay on his guard for the duration of the match. When the referee called for it, Vadim bowed to his opponent before assuming what appeared to be the most basic of stances- legs spread, as raised with his fingers curled. The other guy assumed something similar to his, only with his fists balled up.

This was going to be fun.

Farley assumed his place at his own ring and sized up his opponent. The stereotypical gorilla-man, as he liked to call them. Well built people with impressive height that would make many consider the possibility that size does matter. But Lucas was in the tournament last year, and remembered this guy as being remarkably slow. The thought made him grin. When the match started, Lucas's opponent bowed, and Lucas himself gave a slight bow that would more accurately be described as a confident gesture. He then just stood there, waiting for his opponent to cone at him. He had something special in mind to kick off his match.
