Exactly like you said, one group is easier to keep track of. :) Since it would be unlikely that the group would split up(unwillingly) then the game maker knows he can keep track of them. If there was two groups, they would likely split up and cause a bit more trouble for the game maker to keep track of. Although the game maker does see all it's still hard to watch two differently moving groups. lol It's like trying to keep track of ants really.
