Name: Miles Grady Age: 42 Appearance: A worn-down, ashen looking African American man that looks like he's been ill for a while. Equipment: Mosin Nagant 1891/30 PU variant; it's effective and inexpensive. He also has a .38 revolver that he got out of the attic of a dead relative, and a little ammo. Plenty of food and water in his little nest, along with a pair of binoculars. Some books. Bio: Miles is a lifelong Baltimore resident that worked as a custodian at the Enoch-Pratt Free Library after it became hard to get a job after a conviction for theft and drug use following his return from military service. He cleaned up and took the job through a program for veterans. He was, up until Malleus bought the city, a patient at Johns Hopkins for his cancer, which is thought to be a result of exposure to certain materials during his military service. From the tower on the west side of the Basilica, he is part of the effort to keep the Pratt out of the hands of the people that the TV guys are landing in the city to kill and maim for entertainment. After all, the librarians of the Pratt, most of whom are his friends and coworkers, are holed up there, trying to make it through. He has a long line of sight from that particular location and no particular need to survive the onslaught.
