Karen nodded, not at all minding [b]Mitzy's[/b] temporary leave of awareness, and took the seat opposite to her, with Elijah going on ahead and hopping into the corner before curling into a big ball of fluff and staring curiously at the sloth the girl seemed to have for a pet. Even Karen had to admit it was a bit peculiar, but it was nonetheless adorable. Straightening her skirt as she sat, Karen fixed her posture - back straight, head tilted slightly up, hands resting on lap - before answering [b]Mitzy[/b] with a soft but clear voice.

[color=92278f]"Yes, it's my first time coming to Hogwarts, and I imagine I'm as excited as you are," [/color]In contrast with her words was her tone; calm and controlled, but not in the least excited. She meant that literally. Her head was rushing with so many possibilities, ideas, and even random thoughts of jumping up and down with glee. She even considered buying out the whole Hogwarts trolley and throwing the contents at the different passengers - not exactly the wisest or most logical idea, but there you have it; Karen was excited.

At that moment, another girl opened the door. She was tall, tall enough for Karen to think she was a higher year than they were. When she asked if she could join them, Karen so no reason to refuse; the compartment was hardly full.

Karen turned towards [b]Mitzy[/b], her sapphire eyes locking straight into hers, as though expecting an answer from her for [b]Lavender[/b].
