Not to be a contrarian, but I've never been too big into the Metal Gear games. I did play and thoroughly enjoy Snake Eater, but that's really been the only one I've played.
Metal Gear shits on my soul and I keep going back to it anyway. I just got done infiltrating some place. It was tense as fuck. Guards everywhere. I'm almost done when fucking Dimitri over here thinks it's a good fucking time to walk into a room he never walks into except when he has an itching suspicion that sneaky-man is in it and he really, really wants that Red Army Star metal or whatever they give those fucking commies. Then everything goes to shit so hard I just shut the game off. I'm going back in.
EDIT: Fuck Yakho-whatever-the-fuck base. Fuck the architects. Fuck the guards. Fuck everyone. Even the prisoners. Fuck that place. What a nightmare. Those blindspots when trying to sneak in and out of the courtyard area always fuck me over.

Ah, what a dilemma. Video games be trampling on our 9-5 video game obligations.
I don't see the point of playing a vidja game if it is a chore. Just drop that shit if you feel like it.

Holy crap that's cool. Might have to actually play Civ 5 in order to try that.
Also quick PoW related question: Is Ireland independent from the UK? I saw either in the lore summary or the wiki that it was, but I just wanted to confirm that. I don't want to do anything important with it, I just mention it in regards to the Irish-Americans in the US.
Speaking of which, how are things looking for Mexico? Anything important I should know about? Has anyone taken it up in my absence? If not, I might just like to pick it back up....
You're still in charge of the US, right? I'll have to think of something the US has done in RP to give them a specific UA. Is there anything noteworthy or particular that the US has done since I've been gone? All I remember is the US's war against Canada, the conquering of that breakaway Canadian nation, the gassing of Seattle, and their anti-communist leanings.
I probably could have used you earlier, but I guess you will have to fill in later.
But of recent events:
The Third International's central Politburo elected that yes, there's grounds to go to war with Spain. This comes with agreement from most of the member nation's fifty-person delegations.
I want to go over the exact terms later, but to keep certain areas in synch with activities abroad I'm holding off until @Vilageidiotx and I do something with Azima and Hou. But the general premise is that the International has declared a state of war between it and Spain to drive the Spanish out of Africa and broadly "reconstruct the African regime". It'll probably take a while for further nations like Mexico to catch wind, so don't worry about it just yet. And though it's not a formal declaration of war on behalf of all the nations involved it does establish certain minimum obligations to contributing to the military state of the war. So Mexico will be expected in time to deploy at least some troops to Africa to back-up the Ethiopians.
On an informal basis this may be a move some individuals might use to drum up full war support depending on what's going on at home. This will come into play later in Asia.
Perhaps Isolationism would be the America UA? You could give them the vanilla Ethiopian UA, and maybe mix in something else for style.
I got the mod and fucked around with it a bit. I wanted to meet everybody, but ended up spawning on a tiny island with China.
The only unintended bug I noticed was that NPC simply doesn't download. Even when I am picking out civs in advanced settings, I can pick out all the modded versions for the others but NPC remains Wu Zetian and China.
