Rebecca arrived at the mall, noticing a few others making their way inside as well. Grabbing a plate and loading it with pancakes, she looked around at the people who had already arrived. A girl was playing the violin quite beautifully, seemingly in her own world for the time being. Rebecca recalled seeing her at the mall's ice cream shop, though she'd never spoken to the girl. She recognized a few others she knew also worked in the mall, namely the guy from the bowling alley striking up a conversation with the lounge manager. At another table, it was obvious there was some tension between a young-ish girl and older boy. The girl was practically seething, but hiding it well. Some also sat alone Rebecca decided to sit at the other end of the table with the mall workers she had recognized. Quietly eating her breakfast, she listened to the two men, taking care not to disturb their conversation. She closed her eyes, enjoying the violin in the background. I must look stupid, she thought after a bit, and opened her eyes, looking around to see if anyone was looking at her funny.
