...That doesn't seem like orcs at all to me, so I'd vote against it. ^^;

Also I've seen that and uh... Yeah probably better not to base stuff on that? I mean hey, amazons are fine I guess if you want them, but I can't see orcs like that at all. Might be because the orcs I'm most familiar with are an all-male race that reproduces via spores, but um... Yeah. ^^;

Any thoughts about the stuff mentioned so far regarding races? Or anything to contribute? It just seems like it's the same couple of people suggesting things and I'm worried that some people might not be getting their thoughts about this out. Which... Would be a bad thing, since this is kind of an important part of the worldbuilding process. ^^;

i still want amazonian but i want put some sort of twist on them


Hmmm... I'm sure there's a bunch of all-female races out there we could plunder for that. Or they don't even have to be all-female, they could always just be extremely matriarchal to the point of misandry and thus treat the males as basically slaves. XD But hmmm.

@Rin: Well, like you and @Raineh Daze have said, I don't really like that idea for orcs.

Far North Dark Elves with some Nordic influence sound interesting though. But I still think there should be some elven "elegance" to things built by all the elf types in this. I mean as in the smooth fancy architecture if that makes any sense. ^^;

... Also I haven't really gotten any opinions on any of my suggestions either.

okay i went through Tvtropes and the D&D Wiki i found something called A "Faelcuvyn" which are a 40 Feet tall female evil fey fire giants (for more here is a link dandwiki.com/wiki/Faelcuvyn_(3.5e_Crea.. ) then on Tvtropes i found it not a race from a fantasy but it is an actual lizard its called a "Teiidae" that are an all-female lizard his is made due to parthenogenesis induced by sexual stimulation. Yep, hot girl on girl action producing babies. How wicked can nature not be? then apparently There are also lizard species that require sperm to reproduce, so they seduce males of other species.

Gonna point out that anything from dandwiki that does not have SRD: in the URL is 'someone came along and edited this into the homebrew section', and it's 90% abysmal crap.

Not really sure of the relevance of lizard parthenogenetic weirdness,though.

I'm not a big culture and history buff, but I think an Aztec civilization sounds really cool.

I've actually done some mock-up art for the Aztec goblin-ish race, but I'm not sure when it'll be fixed up (although hopefully sooner rather than later). But yeah, they'd work really well for an evil race in all their heart-ripping glory, hopefully. XD

...So, um, yeah, starting to get a bit concerned that about half the people who signed up for this don't seem to want to contribute for some reason. :( I thought that there'd be more discussion by the time we got to races since that's kind of a big thing, but... Hum.

...Who's all still interested in this? Just curious, is all. ^^;

Uh, I'm here. Sorry guys. School, life everything has freaked out lately...

Um. As far as races. May I suggest some sort of fairy race? I don't have much time to flesh the idea out... maybe tomorrow when I'm stuck on the bus for 5 and a half hours.

Yeah, I'll get everything drafted up sometime this weekend. Sixteen hours of bus trips total, because I forgot the round trip part of it. :/ xD

And here we go. Probably need a more Aztec-y sounding name than "goblins" though, but hmmm. I assume they're pretty cowardly individually, but larger groups of them can easily be whipped into a blood frenzy.

...And if they have any pyramids they were probably built by some precursor race and they're just squatting in them, but in the meantime have built up a cult around said precursors (which, naturally, involves heart-ripping sacrifices). Hmmm.

@Raineh Daze yeah Fealcuyvin or whatever seemed like a shitty idea but Rin said we could just try to look around for an all female race and i don't even think that they are female even it just says that there appearance is feminine. but the lizard part i just wanted to share that in hopes that someone could come up with an idea from them which i did and essentially its just reptilian Amazonian
