Alex’s eyes shot wide open. It felt like he was pulled from a dream. Not slowly waking up but violently pulled out. The shapes and spots on the sphere stopped moving and fractures formed over the surface. Without a sound, the sphere broke into shards of purple glass. Though none of them ever touched the ground. Like fine sand they disintegrated and vanished into nothingness. Alex watched it all, with both curiosity as of how that all happened and a yearning to make it happen again. It was the first time he made a sphere again in a very long time. Shaking his head, Alex gathered his wits again and formed a small but hopefully friendly smile. “See that girl over there?” He nodded to Artemis. “She wanted to talk to you later. That aside that was really beautiful. If you’d tell me that your gift was playing the violin I’d totally believe it. That was truly a lovely piece. Did you learn it by yourself?” He genuinely asked.
