 In just a moment, the witch’s eyes flared with mage, and she pointed her finger at Nai.[color=9e0b0f]” Bang~”[/color] Was all she said and a sphere of magic energy shot from her finger with incredible speed and power. Nai who was caught completely unprepared, quickly managed to activate her defensive barrier spell, but it was all for naught. With the sound of crystals shattering the moment the barrier was made, the witch’s attack completely shattered through the vampire’s shield and hit her. Nai couldn’t believe how fast it happened, her shield didn’t even slow the thing. The very moment the attack struck her, she found herself blasted backwards as if hit from a cannon. She was thrown back so strong, she found herself dragging on the ground outside the hall of the queen.

Only now did Nai realized something very important. Her awareness was so consumed by the overwhelming presence of the queen earlier that she completely missed the witch’s. If the queen felt like a proud noble beast, the witch felt aura felt like that of a calamity.
