Personally, I already have an idea for a character, but I'd rather see some more lore before I flesh it out.
The problem is, I dont have much lore. This is all create your own world stuff. What I can tell you is basic stuff. The world used to be a land of adventure, people fying off to claim their fortnes. However as more and more unlocked magic less took time to undertsnd it and more become corrupt using magic for bad. This created a problem of mutated animals. And as the fog grew the world fell aside from the few holds that left that stoped trying to help. Its down to you what lore we have. Ask and we will find a way to fit it in
I'll take a stab at a CS.
Name: Larina Malhanna Race: Human Age: 33 Skills: Good negotiator. Magic: Fire Magic- usually rents her powers as a "Boiler" to the Ruling Robber Barons of the South, fueling their machines without the need to buy coal or wood. Equipment: Traveler's cloak and kit, Magic Focus (wand) Short Bio: Larina was born the eldest daughter of Countess Hilde Malhanna in the Principality of La Foneine. At first she was groomed and educated with the intent of taking over rulership of the Principality as tradition demanded, attending dinner parties, sitting and observing proceedings at court, and attending an etiquette school. All seemed to be going according to the Countess' plan for succession when, on Larina's 15th birthday, she manifested the power of a flame magi. The history of La Foneine was checkered with rulership by Magical Overlords until they were overthrown by the Great Wave of Revolutions 200 years ago, and by law a Magi cannot rule over the Principality. Larina quickly found herself disinherited and removed herself to the neighboring country of Grand Aeria for proper schooling with her gift. Aeria's more industrialized nature meant Larina's training was geared less toward battle and more toward production. Her apprenticeship did end with a stint aboard the airship Sovereign's Grace powering the emergency boilers, and ever since the apprenticeship ended, Larina has moved from factory to factory, working toward her ultimate goal: a letter of recommendation into Grand Aeria's Collegium of Magi.
