It is in your PLTs and on the Bulletin Board by the Student Lounge.There are no controls to the Floating Spiral Staircase. Only a pad where you step on and either think or speak the name of the floor you wish to go to. You will spiral to the floor as you float either upwards or downwards depending on where you are. The Floating Spiral Staircase is Sentient so be polite to it. If you do not know what Sentient means, here is the dictionary definition: characterized by sensation and consciousness. To me that means that it has the kind of feelings as we do. Here are the floors from the top to the bottom:
Roof Top
Entertainment Floor
Non-Magical Floor
Staff Floor- No students will be able to land on this floor!
Bedroom Floor 
The Main Floor
The Village
