Hana Oshiro - The Last Samurai
"Where I'd be without my magic?" Hana repeated aloud. Of course she knew exactly where she would be without her magic: right here. The Last Samurai was absolutely confident that with her skills and weapons that all the fights she had been in throughout her history would've had the same result regardless of whether she used her Cherry Blossom Magic or not. While Vivian's remark was rude, Hana decided not to answer the rhetorical question so as not to go down to her level. But she still had something to say. "If you are to question an opponent's capability, you are to do so when you are in a position to prove yourself. Otherwise it is quite rude to address me in such a way." Not many people in the guild, or people in general for that matter, respect honor and integrity. Definitely not to the degree that Hana does. She would always remain adamant about it, deliberately forcing her manners onto other people in the romantic hope that they would follow suit. "You cannot expect an honorable duel if you yourself are not an honorable person." With that final quip Hana decided to follow Isshum, presumably with Vivian in tow as the younger girl probably still wanted to challenge The Last Samurai. It was a bit of a walk, but Isshum found an acceptable location. Foliage didn't bother Hana that much, she just wanted to make sure there were no innocent people nearby. She didn't care about the damage the environment would take, nor did she particularly care if there were any obstructions in the fight. Anything between her and Isshum would surely be destroyed in one way or another. "I know not why you are so fixed on being called a hero, but if you are ready then so am I." Hana held both her arms out to her sides with her palms facing outwards. "Senbonzakura..." Cherry blossoms began to spread out from the ground around Hana, drifting upwards gently until they randomly settled to float in one place. Many thousands were formed around the pink-haired woman, even in the air above her to form a loose sphere. Though it was dense it was not so thick as to make it impossible to see, as Hana was able to clearly see out and others could clearly see in. It was at this point that Vivian may have the idea to back up for the duration of the duel. "Summerfall." The thousands of cherry blossoms began to shoot forward at random, dozens at a time. In an almost gatling-gun effect, the sharp pink petals were launched at Isshum. They were capable of slicing through a lot of things, even many forms of magic, but not sufficiently powerful spells or sufficiently sturdy defenses. Human flesh, however, would be turned to mincemeat by the barrage of cherry blossoms. The onslaught would continue until all the created blossoms were exhausted, which would equate to roughly thirty seconds of non-stop attack. The blossoms that missed (or perhaps passed entirely through Isshum) would maintain a straight path and mar the landscape behind him. Regardless of the condition Isshum was in by the end of it, the ground around him would be shredded and the trees in the distance would be perforated. Some may call the opening attack overkill, but either Hana believed Isshum could handle himself adequately or she really wanted to beat him in one attack. It was hard to tell which just by looking.
