References, backstory, goals/direction would be a primary focus. The GM staff would discuss the competing apps rigorously and then make a decision or request to see sample posts I suppose.

Just so everyone knows this: I am considering on writing [i]Jade Scott[/i] eventually. So if someone is planning on Kyle Rayner (or any other core GL) please let me know so I can work it out that I can play my version of Jade at some point.
