For whatever reason, whenever I join a roleplay with a lot of liberal or atheist characters I almost always make either a religious character or an authoritarian. I guess it's just my sense of wanting things to be balanced. Another thing I wished was more of a thing on the guild was more variety in politically opinionated characters. Like I always loved superhero roleplays with a lot of clashing political ideologies. A lot of people don't like that, but I find it very entertaining and really humanizes the characters. One of the things that I often don't like is seeing a superhero or Naruto roleplay and the GM wants you to be very specific when creating a character and limits creativity. I understand wanting to have a rp be a certain way, but my interest in roleplaying is trying to be as creative as possible. That's one of the reasons I don't like canon character roleplays.
