Ever since she was young, Kiley knew she was meant for greatness. She grew up in the system, having been abandoned as a baby at the doorstep of the orphanage. Despite it, her ambitions didn't waver. She felt it in her bones. She had talent. She had beauty. She had skill. Her biological parents had made the mistake when they abandoned all that.

When Kiley was nine, she was adopted by Dr. Lazarro and his wife. At first, she had been hesitant. That wasn't the first time she'd been picked up by a couple. Past experiences taught her that foster families only used her for the money the government gave them. But this hesitation disappeared when she met Reagan, her adoptive older sister, who was absolutely delighted to see her.

Under the Lazarros' household, Kiley was given the opportunity to pursue her dream. She was enrolled in singing classes as well as given an acoustic guitar to practice with. Greatness was so close, Kiley could almost feel it.

She was given the chance to go to college but passed it up after she saw the cabaret. It was wild. It was fun. It was her. It wasn't exactly the concert scene she'd imagined as a child, but it was a start.
