Okay, honestly, I have no plot in mind just yet. I was just browsing dear-indies on tumblr when I came upon this series of posts about wizarding schools all over the world and omygod YES. So yeah, maybe plot-wise we could have something drawing them together like a whole other force of evil aside from Voldemort. But yeah, I would need a co-gm to help me plot with this. Of course characters are all ocs. And yeah.

Ah man, I suck at this. But more info about this will be added if people show interest. And I'm REALLY open to suggestions here.

Okay, so not interested in playing a student but perhaps a member of the staff in some regard or perhaps more specifically a professor. If that is possible, I have some interest.

Definitely interested! I've seen those tumblr posts and they are very cool. I've also been wanting to start a Harry Potter rp too. I would be interested in being a co-gm as well!

@Afina that's totally possible! Since the fairly vague idea I have for this rp is to have them fighting a great evil, then it only makes sense that staff members get involved too.

@PhunkyPhoebe could you send me a pm or something and we can brainstorm ideas?

Not likely, unless in the roleplay we mention a certain person, location, or creature from the series. Even spells, although a few might be created IC. I'd say just ask dee. Or me for that matter, I've read the books an embarrassing amount of times lol

Also question: if there are multiple schools then what would bind the RP together? Like would representatives all go down to 1 school for a tournament (like the Tri-Wizard tournament)?

I suppose it could be sort of like a "World Fair" for different magical schools. Transportation costs aren't an issue given things like apparation and portkeys so it wouldn't be too hard to organize. All the different populations are pretty small, so they'd probably want to meet and exchange ideas and that sort of thing.

Of course things could start going horribly wrong...

Then maybe there should be NPC's (or maybe even characters that we could create with the Gm's permission) To be headmasters of the school in order to communicate back and forth with each other.

Just for a suggeation and my first post on this site lol. But maybe were child prodigies from our respected school, and due to being preodigies in our own craft that could be reason for ourselves to be targets by this unknown evil.

Is it possible for The Board of Magical Education to host a like foreign exchange student program? And we by fate, luck, or mischievous meddling ended up at the same school?

How so? Don't think too broadly of the word prodigy. I meant prodigious in a specific category. Like Hagrid is a magical creature caretaker? Though he excels in nothing else (tragiclly) what limitations do you speak of?
