After Vivian had asked Clarissa about Jay, the former revealed that she didn’t know much aside from his name, which was just as much as Vivian knew. Vivian pouted slightly. She wanted to know more about the mysterious new guy at the academy. She wanted to know exactly who he was. If not for her curiosity, then perhaps to get an understanding of what he’s like. Though, Clarissa was probably right about him having his reasons. If anyone would know - be it tonight or sometime in the near future - it would be Clarissa, since they seem to be a bit close. ”Perha--” Just as she was about to open her mouth to say something, Vivian felt a light tug on her left arm. She turned her head to see who it was and she saw Delilah with Jay a single meter behind her. Lilah would say that they should leave and let Jay and Clarissa talk about whatever that they needed to talk about. Initially, Vivian gave a disapproving pouting sound. She didn’t want to leave, but then came Delilah’s silent look that could only be described with the mental words “I insist”. Vivian shrugged at the thought and waved goodbye to Jay and Clarissa. However, before she could do that, in came the self-appointed ‘Queen Bee’ of Olympus Academy; The all-around Bitch and the daughter of the Zeus, Stella McGuire. She had showed Vivian - and Delilah it would seem - away as if they were lower beneath her or something. Vivian wasn’t much for hate. In fact, she never hated. She saw the feeling of hate to be a negative one and Vivian saught to not have negative emotions in her being. She was a beacon of happiness and positivity. However, there always came a time when even the most positive person gets dragged by hate’s corrupted tentacles and fills a person up with it. That’s what it felt like for Vivian whenever Stella walked into the room. She acted so above everyone else. It was like anyone that wasn’t the child of Zeus was beneath her, even those that were the children of her father’s own brothers. Vivian swore she’d never hate, but there came a very strong dislike when it came to Stella. Grumbling inaudible words under her breath - most likely curse words - Vivian started to walk away from Stella, but that was until she started to hear what Stella was saying to Clarissa, and it was harsh. Like, beyond anything reasonable. Sure, like her mother, Clarissa was a bit loose when it came to men, but nowhere in hell did she deserve all of the crap that Stella was saying. Calling her a whore had gotten under Vivian’s skin so much. It got to the point where, even though Vivian would be causing a scene at the party, she was one step away from showing Stella that she couldn’t do that. She was going to show her that she wasn’t as high and mighty as she would like herself to believe. Just as Vivian took a step forward, she stopped in her tracks. First, his mixed feelings about how everything went down from the blonde guy knocking him down and how Clarissa led him on. For a moment, Jay felt like he was in the same boat as that guy, but then he realized that something different was going on with him and Clarissa than it was with Jay and Clarissa. So, that wasn’t what was holding Jay back. It was actually what came next. A storm of golden superiority took Clarissa by storm and ripped into her as if she was the one to blame. Jay, though he was a few feet away, still heard what anyone of earshot heard and that was the blonde called Clarissa a dumb whore. Now, whether it was something in Jay that felt deeply for Clarissa or that word as a whole, he began gritting his teeth. His fists clenched as it an anger was boiling up inside him. His arms started to stiffen up, as if he was forcing his muscles to their maximum, but Jay wasn’t that strong. Regardless, he still felt there was something in him that was about to burst; something that perhaps would bring all of what he was feeling to a full-circle. And then he took a big step. Jay, without even realizing it, had injected his body between the blonde and Clarissa. Though his body was still cut up, he managed to get between them. His brows furrowed, a sight of arm in front of Clarissa as to protect her from the blonde and Jay’s body a mere half of a foot away from the blonde’s. Whatever Jay was doing, he wasn’t going to stand for it any longer. It was probably a half of minute of staring at the high-and-mighty blonde before Jay spoke, “listen,” Jay said, eyes not wavering from the view in front of him, “I don’t know what your problem with Clarissa is, but judging her based off of who her mother isn’t fair.” Jay said, his voice gleaming with a protection-like sound to it. Jay didn’t know what he was doing. He had to have been out of his mind. Not only did he actually walk up to the eye of the storm, but now he was speaking to the originator of that very storm. Then, just as Jay was about to say something, Clarissa retorted back a piece of her own. He smiled as he looked back at her, but Jay came back to the view of the blonde. “You heard her, right? Whoever you are to that blonde guy, she didn’t have any intentions on leading him on, “ Jay said, defending Clarissa to the blonde.
