Max Stross, Los Angeles - Olympus Testing Facility, Interrogation Room No matter what I must get my answers, the safety of the city, of the world is at stake. Max was determined to get information about what he wanted at all costs no matter what he had to do to Elena. "An American citizen" Max scoffed as he took a few steps back from his prisoner to chuckle before glaring. Although he'd found her comment humorous it was clear he wasn't in a joking mood. "As far as I'm concerned your a monster, and the law dosen't apply to people like you. Besides, the law comes to me to deal with sticky situations where rules and regulations make it so the most effective option is too controversial so they send it to me. "He looked up briefly at the lights flickering then back at Elena with a disapproving scowl. "Don't try to use your parlor tricks in here, this room is set up to deal with your ability trust me. But here's the thing about the bullshit you just said." Max walked over to Elena spitting in between her eyes then smacking her in face harder then before. "You things don't care about regular people, your only concern is wiping us out and taking over. Well let me give you some news bitch it's not happening. "Now then who were you working with. My agents told me you didn't come to the cabin alone, there was someone else with you. And I'm not a gambling man but I'm betting it's another one of you fucking creatures. Who is that person, I want their name first and last, your relation to them, any information you have on them. Answer me or else." Max reached in his pocket for a knife pressing it against her arm and starting to cut to dry blood then stopped. "The things I can do to you, the things I want to do to you, the things I WILL do to you if you don't talk well let's just say it's in your best interest to give me the information I want or I will make you talk either way I'm going to get what I want, so why don't you start talking unless you'd like me to beat you, a little water boarding maybe, cut off some toes, fingers, some other appendages all of those sound like appealing ways to make you speak don't you agree? Oh and one more piece of information tell me does this name ring a bell, Building 26?" Max smirked looking into her face to see her expression as he mentioned the name of headquarters of the former anti evolved human operation in America. Peter Petrelli, Austin Texas - With Noah Peter followed Noah to his car hopping in the passenger seat and putting on his seat belt. "I hope you mean we're riding to your place to check the computer and not to LA. I know I'm not Hiro, but I'm pretty sure I can teleport us to L.A. without accidentally going back to the ice age if that's what your worried about." Peter sighed he knew Noah was right about one thing, after seeing Becky get caught he wasn't going in that testing facility guns blazing regardless of his powers. The world was aware of what they were capable of, and there was no telling what the true extent of their defense systems in place well hopefully Matt could change that. "My mother said it's us against them, but how do you think this is gonna play out really? I mean she's right eventually it's gonna come to that, but against the world? Even if by some miracle everyone with abilities started working together, we might literally be facing armies of trained soldiers, not to mention the extent of some people's powers might be glowing in the dark not exactly an A1 counter to soldiers in body armor with assault rifles." Peter wasn't trying to resort to negativity but he was constantly plagued with nightmarish visions of the future in his sleep just like his mother so at this point optimism seemed like a foreign concept. No matter what he wasn't going to back down from the plan, he wasn't going to sit idly by and let people get put away for something they couldn't control. He just wanted to talk about something, anything to get his mind off the fact that Claire was gone. When he'd heard the news he felt like he was going to explode...again and looking up to see they were at Noah's place didn't do much to get his mind off his slain niece. Glen McClure - New York, Apartment Glen stepped into his apartment, closing and locking the door behind him. He went to his fridge to grab a can of sprite before plopping down on his couch and reaching for the remote. Pressing the power button he quickly flipped through some channels before arriving at the news. "Another brutal massacre in Brooklyn has taken place, police are present on the scene, apparently copious amounts of narcotics and weapons have been confiscated. This act of violence is being linked to the vigilantism as NYPD unearthed another message left by the anonymous Justice. Many are conflicted about this mysterious individual who appears to be leaving a pile of bodies in his wake some claiming this individual whoever they are is beneficial to the community, while others have a much harsher negative opinion. Captain Sterling tell us your opinion on." Glen changed the channel to another station he didn't care what anyone thought about his extracurricular activities. "Those corrupt bastards want me off the streets just because I'm fucking with their money. They should be ashamed to call themselves law enforcement, the only thing there enforcing is money into their bank accounts." Glen was furious although he considered himself a moral man he had little respect for most law enforcement agents. He believed in the theory that power corrupted most in that business, and those who weren't corrupted where either addled with addictions or emotional instability or ineffective at best. However the site that behold his eyes as he changed the channel didn't do much for his mood either. He was watching a news broad-cast about the protests in L.A he was already aware about Claire's death thanks to the news app on his phone, but the hispanic special who attacked downtown well that was new to him. "You fucking idiot, you think going to kill them is going to make things better?! Your no better then Claire!"He sighed the events of the day starting to stress him out not to mention he was sure had homework in both physics and philosophy. He got up from the couch sprite in hand going over to the fridge and opening it up to grab a cold half full bottle of Gin that he had. Grabbing a clean cup from the dish water he poured more then a reasonable amount of liqour in the drink, before topping it off with the rest of his sprite and taking a long swig. "Ahhh...now that's what I needed." Glen picked up the bottle, drinking straight out of it before putting it away and relaxing as the familiar burning sensation of alcohol coursed through him. Closing the fridge, and grabbing his mixed drink he made his way over to the couch still staring at the screen. I can't just stop with criminals, Captain Sterling and cops like him, people who want to use their powers to hurt others I have to go after them too, everyone has to face Justice. Jason Koravil - New York City Jason was sitting down at a table staring at the television in the corner. Today's events had been interesting from Claire Bennet's assassination to the evolved human who attacked downtown Los Angeles. "Maybe I picked the wrong place to live." Jason had made a mental note to add the person who killed the protesters in L.A to the list of Evo's he wanted to recruit to the Enterprise. "So what do you make of this Jason?" The other man sitting at the table asked of Jason, as a woman came in setting two glasses down in-front of the two men. "Well things are certainly getting interesting aren't they Mr. Mayor hmm? That's why I've come here, the drug trade in New York well I need it. The NYPD has been co-operating, but here's a few major players I need picked off immediately. Mind you I don't want their whole operations taken down, just cut off the head, and let the extra Hydra's grow into my own operation. It's all in that folder in-front of you." Jason smiled at the mayor as he motioned to the folder on the desk in-front of him as he took another sip of his drink. The past few days had been going splendid for him thanks to his power, he managed to stay ahead of those who wished to do him harm. He'd managed to finally meet the mayor, and of course used his power to influence him. It was one thing to be able to gain influence in New York's police force, but the mayor himself that was an improvement. Of course telepathy made things a-lot easier, but sadly thanks to modern technology things weren't completely easy. The more powerful the person was, the harder it was to meet them without arousing too much suspicion after all he was just a college sophomore who happened to be an up-coming producer what business did he have conversing with politicians, and police? Those were the type of questions that plagued his mind so he was careful with every step he took to make sure he wasn't implicated and caught on photo or footage with people he didn't need to be spotted with. Most importantly he'd managed to falsify the results of his blood test and get human put on his I.D. He looked at the Mayor reading through his surface thoughts as he went through the files. "Alright I'll put a word in to Captain Sterling, might as well throw him and the force a couple wins, plus it makes everything look good. You understand our arrangement, feel free to have drugs flowing through the city with your operation but keep it in the shadows. On the surface it's going to look like the NYPD is shutting down the drug trade in the city, but behind closed doors everything from A to Z can hit the streets as long as we're making profits and still locking up a number of dealers who don't want to work with you." "Of course." Jason was using his power to of course manipulate the mayor, the captain and some others but it didn't hurt to not completely rely on his power. "All this talk of drugs almost makes me forget my music career is popping off, managed to sell two more beats to some popular artists, in-fact there asking me for more almost as if they we're mind controlled." Jason stopped to laugh at what he'd just said before the woman from earlier came back with two plates and he had a whiff of the delicious food the mayor's chef had prepared for them. "Nothing like a nice steak, and some steamed vegetables after a long day of selling drugs and beats." Jason grabbed his fork and started to dig in, despite the state of the country for people like him he was living lavish.
