Sorry for butting in, but as somebody who knows a thing or two about swordfighting as well, i'd say this thrust is easy dodge, and positioning has little to do with it. All it takes is to turn your chest parallel to the thrust and lean back, letting it slide past - and as far as i know, Silas should be left in a pretty neutral stance after his strike to Akkina's back, since he is given ample time to recover. That being said, a parry is no worse.
