22 pages would kill me, always a slow reader. I had small-font, 40-page chapters I had to do outlines for in one class, every other week. I'd wait until the night before, and then spend 6 hours doing it...Though, if you're a good reader or smarter about it, it won't be an issue. And the fact that the article isn't mind-numbingly boring helps.

I'm a pretty fast reader, but what makes me nervous is that everything is so open-ended for this assignment. "Choose your own article as long as it meets criteria." I've read the criteria over and over again and I still think this article is good... but I don't know. Those doubts, man.

Ha, yes. Open-ended assignments.Don't get too worried about it. If your basic plan fits the requirements, you're gold (so long as the teacher isn't of the spacey whimsical sort). Remember, worse comes to worst, and there's no time for an alternative, BS it. :']

It's not a hard-core science experiment, but it sounds like it researches/looks into records, references. etc. to get a conclusion. The question is broad, but it basically seems to be, "What are the results of these hostage negotiations, and how do various factors impact it?"I'm only glimpsing at it, and someone might give you a more focused statement, but there's definitely a question and answer you can interpret from that article.

Kind of what I was thinking, but with another person saying it, I feel better about it. The extra bonus is that I'm almost done reading it and it is really easier to do a paper on to. My other article was about politics, which would have bore me to death. So thanks.
