My Tsuchikage candidate:
Name: Ezo Honshu --- Alias: Ezo the Wolf, Hell’s Army --- Age: 41 --- Gender: Male --- Rank: Tsuchikage --- Appearance: --- Personality: Ezo is gruff and distant, taking in everything and giving up very little in return. He doesn’t like having to do things, and he can usually be seen lazing around Iwagakure to avoid having to do work. He’s mildly alcoholic, and he says that he doesn’t like how he acts when he’s sober. By that, he means he doesn’t like it when he shows his emotions openly. Yup, when he’s sober he’s a lot more open with his feelings and emotions. Extreme amounts of alcohol can have the same effect though, with the added benefit that he won’t remember the consequences of telling the world that he’s a big softy, so… yeah, he sees no reason to ever be sober. The one exception to that is when he’s going to battle. For war, a clear mind is a must. Ezo on the battlefield is a cruel force of nature, raising an army in an instant. One second he’s one man with an anachronistic hat, the next he’s brought forth an army of walking dead, stone giants, and ungodly beasts. He has no emotion at all when he’s warring. He isn’t allowed to feel for his enemy, for the Tsuchikage must only think of his own people’s well being. Any who would bring harm to the people of the land of stone forfeit their right to live. --- Village: Iwagakure --- History/Background: First he was a simple farmer, just living to the next season, then he was a simple soldier, just following a superior’s orders, and then he was a war hero, just protecting something he thought was worth protecting. Now he’s the Tsuchikage, and he’s not sure what he’s supposed to be doing anymore. Ezo the farmer was a nobody until he was coerced into fighting in the war. He’d been able to summon Fenrir even back then, and that wolf built Ezo’s name into a synonym for complete annihilation of the enemy. It’s ironic really, that back then he’d hated war. This was about when he started to drink. He’s never stopped since. Ezo, through his jutsu and his puppets, but mostly through Fenrir, massacred hundreds, maybe thousands. By the end of the war, he no longer needed other soldiers to fight with. He’d walk up to the enemy force, and by the time he got there, if they had someone competent in charge, they’d have already retreated. When they didn’t, he’d add more red to his record book. Now that the war has ended, and now that he’s the kage of the Land of Stone, Ezo isn’t really sure what he’s living for. He can’t run a country in a time of peace. He doesn’t know what peace is supposed to look like, so how is he supposed to achieve it? Ezo has resigned himself to be his country’s protector, but he can’t run it. He leaves running the country to his daughter, Mayonaka. She’s smarter than he is anyway. Some country bum drunk is the last person you want in charge of a country. He really isn’t sure what the first Tsuchikage was thinking, putting him in charge. So what did the first Tsuchikage see in Ezo? He saw a man, willing to do whatever it took to protect his own. He saw a heart, weeping as its owner slaughtered hundreds and pretended like he could just shut that out. And he saw a father, a broken man trying to put himself back together for the sake of one little girl whom he hadn't been able to bring himself to kill. A man who knew war firsthand, who had the power to fight, the will to protect, and the capacity to love and possibly, to attain the one thing the first Tsuchikage had given up on: peace. Peace of body, of mind, of people, of the world. So when Takai Ryukoku, the Tsuchikage of the Sky, was killed, and his final will read aloud before all who attended the event, Ezo Honshu was named his successor. The Kage whose feet rarely graced the earth with their presence had left his position to someone he hoped would be more down to earth. --- Tools: The basics (kunai, shuriken, and all that other junk), a large crossbow across his back, and a single large arrow. --- Chakra Nature: Earth, in addition to being adept in Lightning --- Kekkei Genkai: None --- Special Traits: An immense chakra reserve High kenjutsu skill, even though he doesn’t carry a sword around Incredible spatial awareness Reads the flow of a battle with ease Can shoot the wings off of a fly from a quarter mile (His record is five miles, but that was using his Red String of Fate Technique to determine where the fly was, so he doesn't count it.)

Earth Release: Earth Spear Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears Earth Release: Moving Earth Core Earth Release: Sandwich Technique Earth Release: Devouring Earth Earth Release: Mutability Earth Release Resurrection Technique: Corpse Soil Earth Release: Earth Mausoleum Dumpling Earth Release: Mud Wolves Summoning: Iron Maiden (his is in the form of a wolf’s jaws) Amplification Summoning Technique Lightning Beast Running Technique Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder Lightning Transmission Name: Summoning: King Wolf Rank: A Range: Any Nature: Space-time Type: Summoning Effect: Summons a giant rabid wolf out of the earth, covered in steel chains that try to pull it back. The wolf towers over the tallest of trees and buildings and is incredibly strong, its chains carve fissures in the ground as it moves. The wolf’s name is Fenrir. He is 100% pissed off 100% of the time, and Ezo almost always has to beat him into submission before he’ll do what Ezo tells him to. Fenrir himself uses wind techniques, sucking in air like a powerful vacuum and then shooting it out with explosive force. His bark may not be quite as bad as his bite, but it’s still pretty bad on its own; the great wolf’s howl is powerful enough to uproot trees. Weakness: He can’t leave the ground with the chains constantly pulling him downward. Also, the chains are metal, so… maybe try a big ass lighting jutsu? Name: Earth Release: Stone Goliath Rank: A Range: Any Nature: Earth Type: Ninjutsu (Puppet) Effect: Ezo creates a humanoid statue out of stone, ranging in size from that of a normal human (useful for fooling enemies and reconnaissance) to an enormous giant (useful for subduing Fenrir and general wrecking shit). Ezo controls the statue like a normal puppet, but he can also see through the puppet’s eyes and use his jutsu through the puppet. Any damage is easily repaired by taking in new stone. Weakness: The things leak chakra like there’s no tomorrow, and Ezo needs to pay constant attention to controlling them, leaving his own body vulnerable to attack. Name: Thunder Release: Spider’s Web Rank: A Range: Long Nature: Lightning Type: Ninjutsu (Puppet) Effect: Weaves a chakra thread through the target’s nervous system and then runs electricity through the thread, paralyzing the target and making them unable to control their body. Weakness: Must first attach a chakra thread to the target, and those with a natural lightning affinity are resistant. Another lightning technique disperses the paralysis affect. Name: Perfect Counterfeit Technique Rank: B Range: None Nature: Copy Type: Copy / Hiden Effect: Makes a perfect duplicate of the target. The target lasts until the chakra used to create it is depleted or the user releases the jutsu. While it can duplicate living things the created copy would not be alive or able to move or attack on its own, so a copy of a person would basically just be their lifeless body. Ezo must be touching the thing he is duplicating, but he can use the technique with a short delay. Weakness: Not too useful on its own, but it makes for one hell of a party trick.
And his daughter:
Name: Mayonaka “May” Arashi --- Alias: May of the Iron Blood, May the Untouchable, Hell’s Second --- Age: 23 --- Gender: Female --- Rank: Jonin, and the Tsuchikage's assistant --- Appearance: --- Personality: May is sharp and quick, ready to knock you down the moment it’s safe to get back up from her last attack. She’s also very kind and considerate to anyone who isn’t Ezo. She’s the one who’s always stuck with the job of tracking down the kage when he’s skipped out on his work. Her patience for that man is long past running dry, and one of these days she swears she’ll kill that good-for-nothing bum. --- Village: Iwagakure --- History/Background: May was just a baby during the war. Nothing is known about who her parents were, and no one else with her unique kekkei genkai has been found to point her in the direction of any family members that may or may not still be living. Ezo found her in the charred remains of a village he had attacked, and he couldn’t just leave her there, not with so many monsters about. Zombies and giants and wolves all around, orders to leave no survivors were ignored as he picked up the little girl and took her back home. Ezo wasn’t very good at being a dad, to put it mildly. From trying to feed a toddler a steak the first night he brought her home, he never really got any better at raising her. May wouldn’t have had it any other way. He raised a girl the best he could, and she turned out all right, if she’d be allowed to say so. Ezo never lied to her about who she was and how he had come to adopt her, so she never had a chance to hate him for possibly killing her parents, family, and maybe entire clan. Well, she’s tried to, but she isn’t very good at hating people. May was raised to be the only thing Ezo knew, other than being a farmer because Ezo really didn’t want to go back to being a farmer and that was a soldier. He taught her how to fight, how to strategize, how to get other people to teach her math because he couldn’t have if his life depended on it, and he even taught her all of his techniques, in addition to teaching her how to control her kekkei genkai so that she could use it without hurting herself. She’s the only one other than Ezo that Fenrir has ever been summoned by, and even then he almost ripped her head from her spine for it. She was terrified of the wolf for quite a while, but now she knows how to handle him, and their relationship is… less murdery. Ever since Ezo became the Tsuchikage, May’s had to think of herself more and more as the parent in their relationship. Ezo would rather disappear and show up days later on some stranger’s roof half-naked and still sleep till noon after than make sure that his country is running smoothly. So while Ezo may be the official kage, May is stuck doing all of the real work for him. She can’t be too angry with him though because whenever there is trouble in the Land of Stone, he’ll be the one there to protect his people from harm. But still, the paperwork! May doesn’t know it yet, but Ezo is preparing her for the time when he can step down and have her take over as the Tsuchikage. He’s taught her all he can as far as jutsu and fighting go, and he fully believes that she’ll surpass him in strength in the coming years, and she’s already learning everything about managing a nation during his time as kage, when he can take the blame for any mistakes she may make. --- Tools: Wears a wedding ring on each middle finger, from the couple that was her first kill. --- Chakra Nature: Earth, mixed with Fire to create… --- Kekkei Genkai: Steel Release --- Special Traits: Speed through the roof and immovable physical strength Kenjutsu skill on par with Ezo’s Impervious to most physical injury Good balance

Steel Release: Impervious Armor Summoning: Iron Maiden (hers actually looks like an iron maiden) Name: Steel Release: Iron Blood Rank: S Range: Short Nature: Steel Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Any physical injury to May’s body is stopped by her metal blood and triggers deadly steel spikes to blossom from the wound instead of blood. The liquid metal then seals the wound and hardens. Weakness: Don’t attack with taijutsu or kenjutsu maybe? Just a thought. Lightning might work, since steel is closely related to earth. Name: Steel Release: Iron Cannon Rank: B Range: Long Nature: Steel Type: Ninjutsu Effect: A very short piece of iron emerges from May’s palm with such speed and force as to launch whatever she’d holding over the far horizon, or at least a few dozen miles away. Weakness: Depends on what she’s launching really, but the general rule is just to get out of the way. Neutralizing her arms might be a good plan as well, but that’s easier said than done. Name: Steel Release: Iron Forge Rank: A Range: Short Nature: Steel Type: Ninjutsu Effect: May shapes her metal blood into any shape she desires and then solidifies it to use as a weapon. Weakness: Depends on what she shapes. I’d still try out the lightning jutsu though. Name: Earth Release: Roulette Vacation Rank: B Range: Short (A very long short) Nature: Earth Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Creates a deep depression in the earth, with May in the center and tall sloping walls forming a bowl. The entire structure spins at high speed, disorientating anyone trapped inside. Weakness: The center of the bowl is safe, and May is also standing in the center of the bowl. It isn’t hard for any moderately competent ninja to escape. Name: Steel Release: Infinite Pull Rank: A Range: Long Nature: Steel Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Creates an enormous steel ball and then crushes it into a tiny space. May then adds more and more steel to the ball without making it any bigger, increasing its mass to critical level. Everything in the area is pulled towards the ball. She can then fire the ball end release it, which creates a massive explosion and pressure wave wherever it hits. Weakness: Takes time to prepare, and May must focus on keeping the ball stable the entire time or else it will explode. The chakra cost is exponentially higher as she tries to add more and more mass into the ball and still keep it stable. Name: Steel Release: Iron Fortress Rank: B Range: Long Nature: Steel Type: Ninjutsu Effect: A very large and very hard wall of steel rises from the ground. That’s it, just a wall. Weakness: Use those prepositions! It’s a wall people. Name: Steel Release: Iron Chains Rank: B Range: Long Nature: Steel Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Summons steel chains that May can control to attack her enemies. Weakness: Electricity… again. Name: Steel Release: Iron Haze Rank: B Range: Mid Nature: Steel Type: Ninjutsu Effect: Scatters millions of microscopic droplets of metal throughout the air, deflecting and dispersing electricity. Weakness: Don’t use electricity. Oh wait, but then how are you supposed to deal with her other techniques? Stop whining and figure that out for yourself. Name: Fire Release: Burning Fever Rank: B Range: Short Nature: Fire Type: Ninjutsu Effect: May increases her body temperature to a scorching level and then sends the heat through her metal constructs. Weakness: She’s hot, so be cool and get her a nice cold drink, meaning water jutsu. Name: Perfect Counterfeit Technique Rank: B Range: Long Nature: Copy Type: Copy / Hiden Effect: Makes a perfect duplicate of the target. The target lasts until the chakra used to create it is depleted or the user releases the jutsu. Weakness: Not too useful on its own, but it makes for one hell of a party trick.
