Silas woke slowly, despite the trumpets. He's had worse wake-up calls than that. His body still wasn't back to good condition, guess two weeks aren't enough to recover from months of experimentation in a lab. When he got here, he was in such a bad condition that he couldn't stand up by himself without a lot of effort, being loopy from drugs like anesthetics didn't help, and he had spent the first few days in the infirmary. Every day since then he's had his own apartment and proceeded on the slow road to recovery, at least physically. He heard his neighbor doing her stuff before leaving, and he finally got up and got ready himself. Taking a shower and getting dressed, he walked out and looked at his watch. He was going to go to the gym, but not yet, and instead decided to head to the orchard. Outside he passed a couple people by, offering simple "Hi's" to them as he walked, really one of the few words he said to anyone here. After a short bit of walking he was in the orchard, grabbing an apple and, after checking it over, sitting down against one and eating. He didn't have much of an appetite this morning.
