Drew nodded, walking over to the pipe. "Yes, ma'am." he said, glad to have a task he could handle. He took a deep breath, then exhaled through his nostrils, feeling the air move down near his hands. He started moving his hands to warm up before wiggling his fingers to feel the motion, slowly moving them towards the steam. It did not scald him because none of it came into contact with him, instead splitting into two streams of hot air when his hand approached. 

He made it spin around for a bit, happy to play around with the heated water so he could properly redirect it into the pipe, making it function like normal. "Okay! Ready to go!" As he waited for the metal to seal, he decided to actually try and socialize. Not the best situation, but he knew he wouldn't try it again once things were calm. "So... what's your name, miss?"
