So to clarify for all involved in the minor confusion: 

The last hero of legend was thought to have died at least 1000 years prior to the present day. All of our characters (with the exception of Sikes) therefore all existed at [b]least[/b] 1000 years prior to the current events. 

The Starless has been systematically hunting Gods for at least 500 years, extinguishing one every few decades. 

The Great Fire, in the last few months, has begun to dwindle. The Last God is killed pretty much as the RP begins.  

The Last God brought the heroes back as a dying act.
