Mei pauses in the entrance to her new home. This earns her a rifle-butt to the small of the back, and she falls to the bamboo-mat floor as the heavy wood door is closed behind her, and sealed with a heavy bar on the other side. Almost everything in the cell is made of wood, or some form of plant matter. Everything that isn't is made of plastic. A camera in a plastic bubble watches her pace the room. The bed is a mat on the floor - no room to hide anything under it. For the first time since her capture, Mei has time to herself. In Shanghai, she was under constant supervision, right up until she was loaded into the van. Then again, there's that camera... At least she can't see whoever is watching her. So, what does she have... An empty bookcase, empty wicker basket, presumably for clothes, bed and a big door. Nothing to be done. Mei closes her eyes, and does her best to sleep.
