[@Lady Athena][@supertinyking][@Stephanie Dola][@Angel of Light] Grenades flowed around the Terminator, his Iron Halo deflecting the attacks. The explosions beside him weren't nearly close enough to cause any real damage, failing even to scratch the paint on his armour. Another person might have taken a moment to question how the paint on Space Marine armour is so sturdy, but Valentus was completely devoted to this attack. He had to eliminate what he perceived to be the greatest threat, his arcane senses having told him something of the immense power Lina was capable of unleashing. A volley of explosives rained down around him, but once more his defences proved more than enough to endure the attack. The terminator was momentarily confused, however, as the rain of explosives was exchanged for the more standard variation. He could clearly sense that this was the result of the spell, and yet it seemed useless to him. His deflection field caused the rain to flow around him, but he could tell that it wasn't acidic, and a poisonous rain would have been useless against him. His questions were cut short, however, when the mutant pulled out what appeared to be a missile launcher, firing a guided missile in his direction. Even if it had been unguided, the bulk of the Terminator Armour and the relatively short range made it impossible to dodge. And yet this missile looked like it might be able to deal damage to his armour. It would certainly pierce the field formed by the Iron Halo. He quickly calculated it's course in the second it took for the explosive to reach him. Then he acted. Even as it came close enough to form a threat he swung with his Daemonhammer, the weapon crushing the missile from the side. Anything other than a direct hit was useless against Terminator Armour, and the Daemonhammer itself was nigh-indestructible due to it's nature. However, this meant the mutant possessed weapons capable of harming his armour. He severely doubted the missile would have caused major damage, but any weakening of his armour might make further attacks more effective. After he had dealt with the mage he would need to eliminate the mutant quickly, although it's apparent teleportating ability made it quite likely it would escape. Raising the hand with his Storm Bolter, the Palading unleashed a volley of rounds at the pair, even as he closed the distance. The explosive rounds destroyed anything they touched, ripping large holes in the ground where they hit, leaving little steaming craters. But he was careful not to fire at the apparent human who had approached the scene. Whilst he was not sure where the human's loyalties lay, he could sense no power from her. This made it unlikely that she was corrupted by the Warp.
