Not exactly a good weapon, or even a subpar weapon. It's a good thing it's gonna be replaced. Equipment/Items: Rain Vongola Ring, Lightning CAI Ring, Cloud CAI Ring, Mist CAI Ring, Storm CAI Ring Box Weapons/Animals: Sistema Cambio Arma Instantaneo - Infinito Creazione di Spada/Infinite Creation of Swords - A set of Box Weapons modeled after the Sistema CAI of Gokudera Hayato. However, unlike the original, this particular variation is composed solely of Rain-attribute Boxes, rather than a multitude of different attributes. Furthermore, it lacks any 'utility' Boxes like the Bone Loops or the Storm Disk. In fact, initially it would seem it isn't a Sistema CAI at all if it weren't for the somewhat unusual properties that the weapons recieve when coated in different Flames. Each of the Boxes contain a hilt of a Japanese bladed weapon, whether it be a polearm, dagger. or a sword, without the blade. The 'blade' of the hilt is actually formed from Hinata's Rain Flames, the Hard/Ice variant of Rain, allowing for a choice between any type of blade depending on the situation. A longsword with a katana hilt? A plain katana? A halberd? Hinata's got it all covered. However, to change the type of blade it is, he must first remove the blade entirely and recreate it. The same applies to if he wishes to swap out Flame properties on his blades. He recieves the following properties, dependent on which Flame he choses to coat a blade in:[*]Rain: By coating the weapon's Hard Rain blade with Soft Rain Flames, the user can create wounds that won't heal until the entire Sistema CAI is turned off, as well as the standard slowing debuff. It does this by slowing the cells in the damaged area, thus slowing muscle movement and cellular regeneration.[/*][*]Lightning: Coating the blade in Lightning Flames gives Hinata two options. He can 'sharpen' the blade to the point of effectively becoming an armor-piercing, anti-shield weapon, or he can 'harden' the blade to make it more effective at resisting attacks.[/*][*]Mist: Quite simply, coating the blade with Mist Flames results in a completely invisible blade. While this doesn't sound as impressive as the other abilities, it could actually be considered more potent than the others, if used effectively.[/*][*]Cloud: Rather than using the Propagation property of the Cloud Flames, a blade coated in this Flame uses the property of Cloud that allows it to absorb Flame aura it comes into contact with, and changes the blade's Flame attribute accordingly, without having to recreate the blade.[/*][*]Storm: Allows the Storm coated blade to attack... FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE! It can also spread the Storm Flames around to create environmental hazards, but Hinata's not really the type to go causing collateral to win a fight.[/*]Cane di Pioggia ver. Vongola/Rain Dog ver. Vongola - "Jirou" - Yes, that Jirou. Formerly Yamamoto's secondary Box Animal, it was rotting in the Vongola Base for many years after the 10th Generation Family. That is, until Hinata had decided to use the shortsword-wielding Shiba Inu as his Box Animal of choice.[*]Sistema Cambio Arma Instantaneo - Forma di Pioggia Lupo/Rain Wolf Form - Almost immediately after recieving his variant of the Sistema CAI, Hinata would choose to implement Jirou within the system. Upon providing the Shiba Inu some Sun Flames, it matures and powers up into a Rain Wolf, with parameters that can't even be compared to the original Rain Dog.[/*]Backstory/Personality: Hinata is driven by a sense of inferiority literally and metaphorically beaten into him throughout his life. He was born physically weak, and as a result, was unable to go outside and play with the other kids for a better part of his childhood. However, the young little child held a love of sports and outdoor activities despite his inability to do so effectively. He held an optimistic, steadfast belief that his weak bodily condition didn't matter, and he could do whatever the other, physically-able children could. As such, he'd often try out for varying school sports teams - baseball, volleyball, soccer, etc - only to get rejected due to his natural-born fragility. And mocked for it by the people who did manage to get on the team. Fortunately though, every now and then he was accepted due to lack of sign-ups. Plus, there were always his friendly neighbours who would often opt to play a game of ball or whatever with the young lad, whether out of pity or genuine kindness, Hinata doesn't know - or care, for that matter; as some things are better left unknown. Although, there was one he knew was definitely there because she cared: Sawada Ami, his neighbour and best - not to mention only! - friend. It was during the clubs' display during his first week of middle school when Hinata found his calling. It started off as a relatively regular day, or at least as regular as a first-week-of-middle-school-day went. Go to classes, eat lunch, more classes, so on so forth. However, that day he attended the display, having opted earlier to take up an extracirricular activity, a sports club of some sort, to be specific. Assuming they'd accept a whelp like himself, of course. He walked around the grounds, watching people play basketball or baseball, but Hinata didn't find a sports club that he'd like to live with for the rest of his middle school career. There was one last place to check out before he called it a day and opt to join the 'Go Home And Mope After School Club': the Namimori Middle Kendo Club. And boy, did he love the Nami Middle Kendo Club. Sure, he thought the whole thing was absolutely impossible for him to do, much like his opinions on most other full-contact sports, but after watching a match and getting engrossed within the sound of bamboo-on-bamboo and the excitement of the crowd as the captain got in his winning shot...! Needless to say, Hinata knew he had to get in this club, personal weakness be damned. So he tried out. Obviously he failed spectacularly, but it was the thought that counted. Though thought doesn't get you in your dream club. Or stop the club members from mocking and bullying you every time you tried to join the club everyday for the first year of middle school. So he trained even more. He went home and trained, day in and day out, using his free-time solely for either training or hanging out with Ami. Sometimes both. He didn't have a shinai or bokken to train with, so for the first few months he used a large wooden stick until he finally managed to persuade his parents to get him an actual, honest-to-God shinai to train with. And he carried that thing around everywhere, and was often teased for it. Older, tougher people would often mock and bully him, causing Hinata to try and retaliate, only to fail and go home with a dozen bruises that his BFF Ami usually ended up having to fix. Hell, even the Kendo Club members joined in, staging mock fights and using the too-idealistic-for-his-own-good-Hinata as a training dummy. Eventually, the Rain Guardian learned his lesson: if you can't tank the hits, just avoid them. So he trained again. This time working on footwork and reaction speed. Lo and behold, during his second year of middle school, he actually won his first fight, putting together his superb speed along with his technique to dodge and hit those assholes who thought it was a good idea to corner him after school. Sure, he recieved some damage, but not as much as usual. So, he tried to join the club again. But attempting to join every day for two years tends to get on peoples' nerves, so instead of denying him, they just flat out ignored and/or beat the crap out of him with their superior abilities. Sure, he was quick, but when you get cornered and are up against guys that are both bigger and better than you, you kind of end up getting the shit kicked out of you. So he trained... Again. After all, there was still high school, right? ...No, no there wasn't. Sad face.
