"thank you Vanessa, you don't have to wait on me though" he said as she took his empty plate, knowing his words fell on deaf ears, so he sat back and waited with Riley for desert.  once Sarah was gone, he lowered his voice to that of a mumble. "i know you can hear me as if i was speaking normally Riley, but first don't get worked up, every emotion is going to be intense right now" his lips barely moving "what happened to you, its only the beginning, i need to know if you were the only one attacked or not.. head shake yes for you were the only one, head shake no if you wasn't" and then Vanessa and Sarah came back out.  Kade nodded, acting nothing had happened. "looks delicious Vanessa, and Sarah thank you for that, i don't mind helping out with whatever you need, thank you" he said, taking the ice cream and he began eating it, tasting all the flavors. "mm, delicious"

James sat in the cruiser, staring at Mia. "some people can change, others are lost causes its harsh to say i know, but" he shrugged as he held his wallet, before he smirked. "really Mia, you keep giving everyone a freebie and you wont make any money" he said, closing his wallet, knowing better to fight it, he took the shirt. "thank you" smiling as she giggled, he reached back, hooking the shirt up in the back, then watched Mia heading back to her shop door before she stopped and once again asked about the glass of wine.  he inhaled, looking at the clock. "you know what" rolling the windows up, he locked the cruiser, before climbing out. "i think i will come for that glass of wine, and it wasn't five weeks, Ms. Dramatic here" walking up behind her. "let me" grabbing around her, and pulling open the door for her.
