Power: Repulsion blasts (blue beams which push people or things away.  Has enough punch to cause blunt force trauma.  When he gets angry or focuses enough they turn red, which make them tear apart their target.)

What gave you your power?: He likes to be alone, but the day before he went to a family reunion.  There were dozens of people around and they just wouldn't leave him alone, especially the children.  He just wanted them to get away from him, and wished he could make them back off.
That night he had a dream that he was fighting people.  He kept knocking them back with beams from his hands, but they kept getting up.  Eventually he got extremely nnoyed and tried firing it two-handed.  A ball of red energy formed between his hands, the color shifting like a glowing piece of coal, and when he fired it the man was blasted backwards.  He looked at the man and saw that his chest was torn apart, like the guy in "Alien", but far worse.  The shock of it woke him up.  When he tried to push himself up so he could climb out of the bed he was pushed out of it by those same blue beams.

Personality: He's an anarchist, and doesn't have a lot of respect for authority figures, especially those that use force to maintain their power.  He likes to learn how things work and likes to build things.  He's not a violent person, preferring to solve thing through logic and negotiation.  He will use violence to defend himself and others, though.

Bio: He went to tech school to learn to fix machines, including electronics.  After that he got a job working in a factory, keeping the machines running.  It's a boring life, at least until he got his powers.  Then the government sent SWAT after him and he went on the run.
