[@coolbro] When Eisen began to voice his concern over her lack of proper armor, Darlene felt the blood rush to her cheeks, more so from embarrassment than anger. He was right, but then again, she wasn't really expecting this. She was a Beast Hunter, and even more specifically a Werewolf Hunter at that. Still, she really wished she had something more suitable than this. "I know, I know," she sighed, playing with her ponytail nervously. "Thanks for your concern." Maybe he tried to make her feel better because then he started talking about her strengths instead. Or he could just be very matter-of-factly. Either way, she was kind of flattered. "I'll do my best." She held onto her ax, moving it around a little and enjoying how it felt in her hand. It did not seem like much, but she has trained a lot with it. Should hunters be allowed to be sentimental? Maybe in the future, she'll get a better ax or weapon, but damn did she love her ax. She began to twirl it as if it was a flag or rifle of a high school color guard. It was a habit she had when she was anxious. Fortunately for the rest of her teammates when they arrive, she hasn't dropped it since... well... she doesn't want to think about the last time she dropped it. It was definitely not pretty. "But seriously... where is everyone?"
