<Snipped quote by Cyclone>Then we use NPCs like all the other games did.
Also don't confuse exception with the rule.
Especially not when colonialism is going to be a theme here.

Covering half to three fourths of the world in NPC nations would put us in a worse position. NPCs in general are bad because they severely limit actual interaction between players and make the rate of posting sizzle out and dry up.

@GigI can accept this, the trolls seem logical and balanced. Good job :goldclap

I'm assuming that trolls make up the infantry/artillery corps in the army and the rest are handled by tons of fairies zipping around in their mobile bases tanks and aircraft as well as provide heavy strength and human-esque production capabilities in the civilian sector?

Awesome I'll work on a solid draft for them.

I was originally going to use human sized mechs kind of like big daddies just nowhere near that durable or powerful as my infantry, but I plan to keep those as more elite/experimental units.

Yeah trolls will make up the majority of my infantry/artillery corps, I was originally going to use automated cranes to load my artillery but it does give trolls another roll which is good.

Yeah trolls primarily do most of the physically challenging work such as heavy industry, menial labour tasks that are unsuited for the Fay.

i'm interested in this. I'm unaware of the setting that the veterans are talking about, but I'll try to fit in since I'm anxious to do a nation rp.

Well, who said that?
You just need to make distinction between your mainland and colonies.

Also even if half of the world would be in the hands of NPCs that doesn't matter because unless Voltus creates a major NPC these would be only tiny nations not worth much of our attention.
Seriously, we are nowhere at the level in the early 20th century where everyone mattered.
WW1 and WW2 were called World Wars yet technically it involved Europe the most.

Nothing special. I think we could go to the OOC phase.
Gig's fairies caused a minor uproar apparently because they're so tiny but aside from that nothing else.
Maybe we should pick a "main continent" so the game has that imperialism feel which was originally intended for the old game, too.

BTW, since we use Mercator's projection this is an important for rule of thumb measurements:

So points at roughly the 60 degree mark are 2-3 times larger in dimensions compared to the equator.
That's a huge difference which you should keep in mind.
Same reason is why the antarctica seems to be so close and so huge in comparison.

My nation is going to be heavily industrialized and there's plenty of room for neighbors. Feel free to plop your country down next to it and start a little Eurozone.

This is what the claims map appears to be so far some aren't accurate since they didn't choose a colour or mark down a specific location they just mentioned an area they wanted.

My nation's based on celt/Scottish I suppose?
My armored force is based on being able to hit hard but also able to get out before the enemy realizes that they have been hit
The common features are lighter slooped armor, high velocity main gun, and quick speed. While not to most advanced machine as they were created so that a farmer couls quickly learn to use it.
Here are the classes of armor we offer.
Light
Medium
Heavy
APC
Anti infantry
Anti air.
Each has diffrent weapons and equipment depending on class.

You should find some pictures to represent them, a standard chassis for each weight class is how I went for it kind of like how the Rhino in 40k is the basis for the majority of space marine vehicles. For variant vehicles I just describe the differences from the standard issue one like main turret replaced by flak cannons for aa,

@ClocktowerEchos

I could.

My nation is a fascist state based on the Polish-Lithuaninian Commonwealth, the USA, and a fictional and industrialized version of the Holy Roman Empire.

It has massive industry but needs to import raw materials like oil, which they might trade weaponry and such for if it was to an ally. But in general, as fascists they have the goal of economic independence and some tariffs and other protections in place to support this. So they won't trade for what they don't need, and they certainly don't want to trade more than necessary. They'd see supplying you with weapons more as foreign aid to an ally.

Can I expect more German-Polish-Middle-Europe styled tanks from you then?
Since the way I was thinking is that Fuso's "tanks" were laughable at best. They have good guns, but that's the only thing they have going for them. Fuso never really wrapped their heads around good tank designs so leaders just import tanks as they need as they thought mechs would be the way to go (yes I'm adding them, no they aren't gundams, they're tanks turrets with legs).

If you want an example, think of a Bob Semple tank with a 75mm gun.

They have good trucks and decent half tracks, but any real fighting vehicle like an armored car or tank, rip.
The only real thing that they're good at and make themselves are airplanes and maybe navy, mostly due to something else I'm making to replace sakurite from the old game.

Infantry wise, the men are good, the weapons are copies or modifications of foreign guns.

Holy shit I'm sorry I went on an off topic speech >///<
